Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve Star Showdown

-Debby Ryan, Chelsea Staub & Nicole Anderson hold up some giant pieces of bread in a new promo for Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve Star Showdown. As of Friday, November 20, three new polls will be launched each Friday on http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/newyear/, inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star and fans can also check out fun trivia games hosted by Disney stars. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”

During the “New Year’s Eve Star Showdown” some of your favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.” Judging from the promo pictures, these are some crazy games.

Disney Channel stars helping to ring in the New Year include Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Doug Brochu and Allisyn Ashley Arm from “Sonny With A Chance”; Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles and Moises Arias from “Hannah Montana”; Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jennifer Stone from “Wizards of Waverly Place”; Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson from “JONAS”; Cole Sprouse, Dylan Sprouse, Brenda Song, Debby Ryan and Doc Shaw from “The Suite Life On Deck”; Alyson Stoner from “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam”; Jason Dolley and Bridgit Mendler from “Good Luck Charlie”; and Leo Howard and G Hannelius from “Leo’s Little Big Show.”

Radio Disney DJ’s Ernie D and Jake Whetter will also be on hand and will co-host the game “Sound Off” and will be featured during the New Year’s countdown. Songs from Disney Channel’s Top 10 music videos will air on Radio Disney FRIDAY, JANUARY 1 (12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT) in a one-hour special hosted by Ernie D and Jake. Radio Disney will also celebrate the New Year with a five-hour special THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT), counting down the Top 50 songs of 2009 with all the Radio Disney DJs.

BFF’S Sing Send It On…..On And On!

Could this be Disney Channel’s answer to “We Are the World”?

We’ll learn more tomorrow when the environmental anthem “Send It On” debuts on Radio Disney. Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are singing.

The song will be available on iTunes on Tuesday for 99 cents — and the money goes to environmental charities.

The “Send It On” video debuts Friday, Aug. 14, on Disney Channel — where else? — and Saturday, Aug. 15, on Disney.com and ABC.

“Send It On” is one offshoot of Disney’s Friends for Change: Project Green campaign. More than 350,000 kids have registered to be part of the campaign at Disney.com/projectgreen.

A special will give an inside look at the campaign. It’s a big title: “Lights, Camera, Take Action! Backstage With Disney’s Friends for Change.” It will debut after “Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie” on Friday, Aug. 28.

Jonas Brothers: 17 Again Premiere Curly Cuties!

Jonas Brothers step out in style at the premiere of 17 Again held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday night (April 14).

The musical trio — Nick, Joe and Kevin — just tweeted, “At the 17 Again premier supporting our good friend Zac – JB.”

The JoBros have tentatively titled their new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times, due out June 15 and have just put the finishing touches on their upcoming album.

It looks cool how all of them have curly hair. TEE-HEE!

Miley Cyrus hangs onto BFFs Emily Osment, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato as they make their way into P.F. Chang’s for the Hannah Montana The Movie premiere after party in Los Angeles on Thursday night (April 2).

Taylor, 19, tweeted before the girls left the premiere, “Dinner with Demi, Miley, Emily, Brandi, Trace.”

On the way back from dinner, Miley and boyfriend Justin Gaston stopped for gas.

Demi Lovato stepped out on the red carpet of the Hannah Montana: The Movie held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday night (April 2).

The 16-year-old Sonny hottie accessorized her red carpet look with earrings and and ring by Jewelry by Rosalinda earrings and ring. She was super-sexy in her frilly black studded dress teamed with a pair of open-toed ankle-cuffed heels.

Sterling Knight – Jonas Brothers 3D Movie ‘She is very PRETTY isn’t she?’

Katie and Karleigh interviewed Sterling Knight from Sonny With a Chance.  At the The Jonas Brothers: 3d Concert Experience Premeire, Sterling Knight was asked by Katie and Karleigh if there was anything going on between his character, Chad, and Demi’s character, Sonny. He responded ” We’ll see, we’ll find out. I-I-I-I, maybe. They’re hinting at it but they don’t tell me anything until two days before we shoot it, so.” Katie comes in and says she’s pretty. Sterling Knight, trying to look manly, said “she is very pretty, isn’t she?

Joe better watch out, because a new ‘Cody Linley’ is waiting to sweep Demi off her feet! ” We’ll see, we’ll find out. I-I-I-I, maybe.” remids me of what Joe said in a Ryan Seacrest interview talking about dating Demi. Hahah!
