I seriously doubt that ZT is telling the truth about Taylor. If it was true and Taylor really didn’t want to talk/be in contact with Demi anymore then she wouldn’t be following Demi on twitter. TS doesn’t really follow anyone except for close friends/people she respects. And if you think it’s just a publicity thing that she’s still following Demi, think again. Case in point: somewhere along the line she and Miley had a falling out–though they still were and are on friendly basis, just not BFFs anymore. They’re close enough to be on each other’s phones–Miley talked about how she had to call TS and say she changed her number on the night of the VMAs–but TS stopped following Miley on twitter. If TS really didn’t care for Demi she wouldn’t be following her on twitter. As we’ve seen with how she bashes Joe, she really doesn’t care about bad publicity with other celeb’s fans. If she really wasn’t cool with Demi, she’d probably make it known. She doesn’t have someone like Disney executives breathing on her back, so she can pretty much say whatever she wants to.
Like someone said before and I have noticed also, I don’t think that Demi and Taylor are best buds or call each other up all the time. They are casual friends, if they are in the same area they probably hang out, but they are not the first/second/third person that they each call.

I think if there is anything going on between Joe and Demi right now (which I really want there to be haha) then they are going to be laying low for a while. I doubt they will have many interviews or pictures with eachother either because everyone has heard about the whole are they or aren’t they thing. I am not worried too much about Demi’s tweets right now. She seems to have a miss friends, feel down experience around now each month. I don’t have time to analyse tweets, but I think she is probably a bit prone to the hormonal lows that a lot of women experience once a month (hopefully you know what I mean, and I really don’t want to elaborate).

Oh that clip of the new interview of JB in Paris is certainly promising… Nick’s choice of words was brilliant” “Kevin’s the only one who is getting married, he’s the only one that is taken”. I am beginning to think that Joe will only really come into the public eye in the same way that Kevin & Dani have once Demi is 18 and they are in a really serious relationship for a while.
My guess is that they are laying low out of respect to Nick and to also not let HWSNBN have any more reason to bash Demi (btw he really needs to move on now and leave Demi alone!)
Anyway I am just going to remain hopeful that in the end everything will work out. If you think about it this time last year Joe and Demi were apparently both in relationships and unable to be together yet they made it through all of that and got close enough that they were considering a relationship. I say by this time next year they will really know what they want and hopefully with Demi being 18 and Joe 21 they will announce that they’re together and be happy!
I could lose hope more easily if the moment I see Jemi together I didn’t see such amazing chemistry that literally shouts out that they’re meant for each other. Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could be the next Katyyjonas only because I really loved her work and would love it if people appreciated mine as much. I was just listening to A little bit longer (CD) Yesterday morning and I started to notice some lyrics that really made me think. Wait till I get to Demi’s songs they are way more revealing than JB, the jonas brothers for the most part have very simple lyrics when compared to Demi’s. Demi likes to repeat similar ideas in her songs which I will address after I finish this CD. The name took me a half hour of playing around with different titles to decide on it. Lyrical because I am analyzing the words and Truth because thats what I hoped to find.
To be honest, I didn’t really expect pictures and news about Jemi once Joe comes back, I mean…they are taking it slow AND don’t want everyone to know, so of course they don’t just go out together so that the paparazzi will catch them 😉
I never expected it to be like that, I didn’t expect Jemi news once he comes back, but I DO expect Jemi MOMENTS when they start attending to premeries together or maybe some other events like the Grammys or New Year’s Eve, I think we will catch some moments between them!
And I totally love Joe’s smile when the interviewer asked about their love lives and it also looks like he was blushing and trying to hide it, so cute!
I actually don’t expect a Jemi Outing until Demi’s 18th birthday. I think they will secretly date until then, and after her 18th birthday they will make it official. And I’m totally fine with that and I can understand that they want to wait, because in the end both would get judged because of their age, especially Joe, I don’t think this would be very comfortable for him if the media and some celebs will start shitting about Joe dating a 17 year old. I can remember that Trace was judged about that too!
That way they can slowly develop their relationship and it will last longer than their other ones, because both of them always kind of rushed into it! This time, they were friends and then slowly started discussing wether to try a relationship or not and now they are probably dating, so it took them a long time and they know each other pretty well so I don’t think it will have a bad ending like with Taylor, Camilla, Trace and all those others.
I guess they will try to hide it as good as they can, which means that they will probably show up with someone else to “distract” the media from the Jemi rumors.
I guess Joe will be seen with Chelsea soon, because they will start filming JONAS soon, and I really like that girl and I think that she isn’t really interested in him in that way. For Demi I guess she will tweet some things that make her sound single.
I won’t give up my hope because of anything, because I supported them for such a long time now and I can clearly see their chemistry and their smiles when they are around each other, and that’s my opinion and I will keep my opinion no matter what.
No Pixie or whatever drama we had the last days/weeks will change that!

No nomination for Demi this year. That sucks, I guess the people who make the decisions didn’t listen to her album they just saw the Disney Label and went by the sales numbers. Demi is still young she will have many other chances to win a Grammy. But seriously Taylor Swift is not that good. Why is she getting so much nominations. I hope Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem,, and Lady Gaga win all the nominations they have.
So disappointed that Demi didn’t get a nomination but I guess she has plenty of time in the future. I actually think she should have a break after Season 2 of SWAC and just spend some solid time writing. Then I think she will come back stronger than ever… she really is so talented and I’m sure her time will come.
I agree too about Taylor… I enjoy her music and think she is talented, but Demi is far more versatile and there are a lot of other deserving nominees. I think particularly Taylor shouldn’t have been nominated for Female Vocal Performance as her voice is nice but not as great as others… which I think vocal performance should really honor in their nominations. But anyway I guess it’s done now. I just hope Jemi are maybe have a post show catch up (I noticed Demi hasn’t tweeted again for nearly 24 hrs… hopefully she is busy with more important things!) 😀
does anyone else think that grammy nominations are more based on a persons popularity than talent. i’m not saying i don’t like some of the artist that are nominated but there are soooo many talented artist out there and the nominations seemed to only be given out to a few artist. the same artist are recycled and used in every stinkin award show!!! i’m so mad demi wasn’t recognized. she is a much better performer and has a much better voice, especially live, in comparison to taylor swift. i love taylor swifts music but i just feel this is so unfair. even the jb got nominations last year. again like i said if demi was really popular she probably would’ve gotten the nomination. she doesn’t even get played on many radio stations 😦

I’m with you girl! Demi deserves way more recognition than she’s getting right now. And I get so frustrated because I wish she got the attention she so rightfully deserves.
I’m soo there with ya sista!!! I also think it has to do with album sales and things like that. while Taylor’s music is good, I think that she is being over populated. I mean, even when she first came on the scene, I think she was nominated as best new artist for a grammy and and AMA. I could be wrong on that one though. If that makes sense. Where as with our girl, she has in my opinion way more talent than taylor does and still she’s not getting the recognition that she rightfully deserves. I agree, I think that this is unfair. It makes me upset that Demi isn’t getting the recognition, air play, etc. that she deserves to get. I agree, like why wasn’t Whitney Houston nominated, or Mariah Carey, I don’t even think Carrie Underwood was nominated this year either. Or like Brad Paisley, paramore wasn’t even nominated i don’t think, or owl city, etc. All these people and bands had an amazing year, but are they recognized, nope. I think it does boil down to popularity, and right now it’s like this year has been all about Taylor…now don’t get me wrong, I like taylor’s music, but it’s like there are other artists out there that I feel just aren’t getting the recognition they so rightfully deserve. I’m just praying that next year will sooo be demi’s year and a jemi year. To bad demi wasn’t there, she so should’ve performed. I love Taylor’s music but she is definitely overrated. Yes she can write but it’s all about one thing. The guy that broke her heart. Can’t she write about other things? Demi on the other hand is so underrated. Are people blind and deaf? Can’t they see Demi’s talent? Yes she’s from Disney but that doesn’t mean she’s not talented. I just hate people who judge her for not having talent because she’s from disney.

I sooo agree!!! Even my mom is starting to think that taylor is a bit overrated. I mean, even justin bieber didn’t get nominated….There where a whole bunch of bands, people from different genres of music that I listen to that aren’t even nominated but have had an awesome year.
I agree that Demi should have been nominated. I really do think that her time will come one day and the Grammys will recognize her talent… she can sing, write, dance and act. Demi is seriously deserving of a Grammy and at least her fans realize that!

In one of Nick’s recent interviews he said that Kevin had been thinking about marriage for a while. I think this shows that JB like to keep things private and downplay romance… it also gives me hope that maybe Jemi are closer than we are able to see at this moment in time. 😀
Let’s be honest, Demi’s 2nd album isn’t good enough to nominate her for a GRAMMY. I agree with Travis Clark (from We the Kings band). She has way more talent than what we heard from her. Her songs doesn’t show half her talent. She seriously needs a high quality album with smart professional writers and music producers to help showcase her beautiful big voice. She can continue develop her talent as a songwriter but she really NEEDS some guide from people like John Mayer and others. He was able to help her in just two songs which excellent! but next time songs like that should be up there as SINGLES. It is very stupid to add SWAC’s song to the ALBUM. What are they thinking? There is a SWAC DVD for that. Do you think the voters from the Grammys would take Demi seriously after hearing that song after songs like World Of Chances. Puhleassssse!
Play time is over. Demi should continue working with big artists which is GREAT. She already recorded a duet with Avril Lavigne. Now if only she DECIDES on what songs to include in her album, she’ll be fine. Don’t say there is no hope and Disney bla bla bluh! I’m sure Disney will help her (with whatever they have) to prove to the world that they can produce great young artists. They know she is the best thing that happened to them, because she obviously HAS THE TALENT. The phase of introducing Demi to the kids is OVER. Now it’s time for her to fly and be the big deal.
Hopefully, her 3rd album will deliver some great high-quality mature songs for adults to listen to and who knows if there is a duet with say Kelly Clarkson (just guessing from her tweet posted in October). *fingers crossed* Remember she has all the time to grow with her music. We don’t want an early crazy overrated success that Taylor Swift is getting. We want her to be there in the music world for a long long time. She doesn’t need breakups or scandals or nude pictures to become famous. If it will take her ages to be known (I doubt it) so be it.
You are so right. Demi has the talent to succeed. Just remember the songs from her Demo, they weren’t as professionally produced but are still some of her strongest original work. I think For Love of A Daughter will be her breakthrough song into the mainstream. I hope she is producing an album for fall of next year. I know she will just get more and more fans each year. Her first album came in 2nd. Her next came in 1st for a week, her 3rd will come in first and last longer than 2 weeks. And so on and so on as she grows. Taylor has some talent but was lucky to end up in a scandal that brought her to national attention. Lady Gaga manages to bring her own attention, plus she has talent so of course she sells records. Demi has immense talent but is able to avoid major scandals and is to modest to try to bring attention to herself by her outfit choices.
I think Demi will probably finish the second season of SWAC and then promote Camp Rock 2. Hopefully after that she will take some time out and really devote a solid block of energy to songwriting and working with the best people.
She has such a great talent and we obviously have not heard the best from her yet. I think the fact that she didn’t include the other John Mayer song and the song she co-wrote with William Beckett was a sign that she was perhaps not putting out her best material yet.
I still love songs like Catch Me, World of Chances and Stop the World in particular, and I think once she has made it through all the promotion for Camp Rock and SWAC she will be ready to go the way of Nick J and really be a contender on the music scene. Anyone that hears her sing live cannot deny her talent and I think it will be only a matter of time before she is recognized and validated by the Grammys.

Also agree! I think she’s been writing a little. Remember her tweets back when she was in Toronto about wanting to get on the piano and get the song out of her. Oh yeah and that song about the green sweater….jk but maybe that means she was writing at the time. I also hope she releases a more mature album. I love the new one because it does have a more matur sound than the first one. She said that the first one she wanted it to be catchy. The second a bit more mature. I do agree though that it wouldve been better with So Far So Great and Gift of a Friend. But they took the place o For the Love of a Daughter and Shut Up and Love Me. Hopefully those will be on the next album. She said that she took those off because he thought they were a little mature for her fans and she didn’t want the topics to be ones that parents would have to explain to ther kids. She wanted her fans to grow with her music. Hopefully she can perform at the Grammy’s and win one the next year!

Demi broke up with Alex in the FIRST week of December 2008, because he cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend and so she dedicated “Gonna Get Caught” in her Wiltern concert (back in 8-Dec-08) to him obviously. On the other hand, Joe was super happy that day if you remember seeing him in Demi’s Deluxe DVD standing in front of her dressing room pointing at her name. Also all the beautiful memories of them spending Christmas together molding, playing laser tag, watching movies and other stuff was OF COURSE in December along with New Year’s Eve. The song mentions the problem of some people trying to pursue a person to leave his girlfriend for some reason. In Jemi’s case it is the AGE difference. So Demi asks this person (JOE JONAS) to NOT listen to those people and just remember their December.
So it CAN NOT be Alex. If there is any song in her album that is dedicated to him, it’s “Every Time You Lie” (in my opinion). Remember December screams Mr. JOE JONAS with out any doubt in mind as well as Catch Me and Stop the World. Joe and Demi are the modern Romeo and Juliet. In addition, Demi has dedicated her album to someone VERY special that she’ll ALWAYS love. Remember? Go read it again.

I’m feeling something strange in the air, I think joe and demi are estranged, it will not Twitter for the jonas brothers, they returned to LA and it has not welcome. I do not know very strange if nothing had happened and they did not attach to these “RUMORS” if they continue talking normally, but this is not what we’re seeing, something is wrong, and we have to figure out what.
I think joe and demi had a fight when he was in Europe. She did something that Joe didn’t like. I think Demi partied too much with her “new” friends and like some rumors said she was drunk in some of these days, if she did something worse I don’t know… I think Joe asked her to calm down and she didn’t listen. This was in the night when she tweet “dismissed” in 8 November. They fought and stopped talking. Demi after this started to acted childish, and wrote on twitter how happy she was, how she loved the week with her friends, how good was the parties and concerts she went. All of this to prove to Joe that she does however she wants.
And if you guys check Joe performances in, Madrid, Antwerp, Rotterdam, cologne, UK and Paris, you will see a hyper Joe trying to hide how hurt he was, he started to say he wanted to date everybody, he needed a date for kevin’s wedding, he started flirting with everybody and act like he was single, to hurt Demi. Check Joe Love Bug, Tonight, Still in Love with You, World war III, turn right Performances … and this is only an example, compared them to the performances in Italy when everything was okay.
Demi believed that she was right to party like the way she did and thought Joe would talk to her again but when she realized that he was really upset, was too late. She tweet the song “All I wanted was you” – Paramore” and “Before the Storm”. I think she was trying to apologize but he didn’t accept and tweet that Pixie Song “Cry me out” to Demi.
Demi keep trying but Joe didn’t want to talk to her, that interviews in AMA when she talks the romance between mitchie and shane was when she was trying to have Joe back. She tweet that Whitney Houston song “I look to you” and said let this video talk to you, she tweet “we make sense”, and “happiness is a choice…”. Well! It’s weird but they could have had a discussion. But, If I assume they had one so a need to assume they “are in something more intimate” than a friend and If I assume that I need to say that I have a feeling (I know I have already mentioned that) they have been is thin Nonoficial thing since CR.
Why do I say that? When I heard Demi’s songs and analyze her lyrics they claim that to me. And If we payed attention on her LYrics we can “see” they are often “mad” with each other (not really meanfull but stressfull). Besides She said in most of the song “we fight for nothing, yell for nothing”…I can’t stand you anymore, but i can’t live or be with or without…and she keeps repeating those things in both cds.
As for each other level love. I believe they “love” each other the same way,but in her own words “cause together melt the ice” or we’re so different but opposites atract, and other and can’t remember now.

I seriously doubt that ZT is telling the truth about Taylor. If it was true and Taylor really didn’t want to talk/be in contact with Demi anymore then she wouldn’t be following Demi on twitter. TS doesn’t really follow anyone except for close friends/people she respects. And if you think it’s just a publicity thing that she’s still following Demi, think again. Case in point: somewhere along the line she and Miley had a falling out–though they still were and are on friendly basis, just not BFFs anymore. They’re close enough to be on each other’s phones–Miley talked about how she had to call TS and say she changed her number on the night of the VMAs–but TS stopped following Miley on twitter. If TS really didn’t care for Demi she wouldn’t be following her on twitter. As we’ve seen with how she bashes Joe, she really doesn’t care about bad publicity with other celeb’s fans. If she really wasn’t cool with Demi, she’d probably make it known. She doesn’t have someone like Disney executives breathing on her back, so she can pretty much say whatever she wants to.

I think if there is anything going on between Joe and Demi right now (which I really want there to be haha) then they are going to be laying low for a while. I am not worried too much about Demi’s tweets right now. She seems to have a miss friends, feel down experience around now each month. So yeah, her likeness or crush on horse made her and miley closer. YEAH, you know how it goes. the “imma be close to you bc you know.” But eventually it became a real friends like
they just clicked. They JUST BECAME REAL GOOD FRIENDS.
Okay. WE ALL should know that miley and selena with always have that “thing” between them. it’s because of NICK J. Both went out with him, okay?! but miley was much more offcial with him. Yeah, their both frineds with demi but that does not mean it makes them ALL TOGETHER EQUALS BEST FRIENDS. But this kinda hurts Selena bc demi knew there was a feud which demi thought everything was okay between selena/miley. But demi did not know, so she didn’t see anything wrong with hanging out with miley. So selena didn’t say anything; of course selena couldn’t be mean and say, “No, i don’t want you to be her friend.”
Miley and taylor s. are friends but not like to the level to the closeness of demi and miley. or selena and taylor s.
So demi and horseshit did not work out. But demi told miley about joe and she understands and she comforts her. Selena would too, but like I said about the taylor s. and selena friendship. So eventhough horse and demi did not work out miley and demi have this bond on telling eachother secrets. LIKE OMG, SECRETS.
So of course selena would get iffy too when demi is getting close with miley. But then again selena was close to taylor s. first. So it’s a big misunderstanding or this or that. So like duh, demi had like nobody to talk to so duh, there was miley to talk to. she talked to miley while selena was always with taylor s.
I’m not saying selena is a bad friend. it’s just that she did not see how it hurted demi when she was being close to taylor s. while and after the relatonship with joe jonas; when demi talked to selena about this.
So this is where it splits. Selena and Taylor s. Demi and Miley.
Yeah, yeah. I know demi hanged out with taylor s. but it ws not really like “you know.” and taylor s. is the one who offered to a hockey game, and of course demi had to accept it. Oh that clip of the new interview of JB in Paris is certainly promising… Nick’s choice of words was brilliant” “Kevin’s the only one who is getting married, he’s the only one that is taken”. I am beginning to think that Joe will only really come into the public eye in the same way that Kevin & Dani have once Demi is 18 and they are in a really serious relationship for a while.
My guess is that they are laying low out of respect to Nick and to also not let HWSNBN have any more reason to bash Demi (btw he really needs to move on now and leave Demi alone!)
Anyway I am just going to remain hopeful that in the end everything will work out. If you think about it this time last year Joe and Demi were apparently both in relationships and unable to be together yet they made it through all of that and got close enough that they were considering a relationship. I say by this time next year they will really know what they want and hopefully with Demi being 18 and Joe 21 they will announce that they’re together and be happy!
I could lose hope more easily if the moment I see Jemi together I didn’t see such amazing chemistry that literally shouts out that they’re meant for each other. Demi’s mom knows it and I am certain that almost everyone around them must be Jemi supporters (I actually think Nick and Kevin are too and would love to have Demi as a sister-in-law). Now it’s just up to Joe and Demi to let go of all those fears and really begin something that could last a lifetime. Kevin’s wedding would be such a perfect place for them to really reconnect… how romantic would that be now. JEMI FTW!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could be the next Katyyjonas only because I really loved her work and would love it if people appreciated mine as much. I was just listening to A little bit longer (CD) Yesterday morning and I started to notice some lyrics that really made me think. Wait till I get to Demi’s songs they are way more revealing than JB, the jonas brothers for the most part have very simple lyrics when compared to Demi’s. Demi likes to repeat similar ideas in her songs which I will address after I finish this CD. The name took me a half hour of playing around with different titles to decide on it. Lyrical because I am analyzing the words and Truth because thats what I hoped to find.
That video is awesome. Can’t wait for the others. But,Be carefull cause Demi’s lyrics could make you brainless or becomening nuts…Jk..LOlll
To be honest, I didn’t really expect pictures and news about Jemi once Joe comes back, I mean…they are taking it slow AND don’t want everyone to know, so of course they don’t just go out together so that the paparazzi will catch them 😉
I never expected it to be like that, I didn’t expect Jemi news once he comes back, but I DO expect Jemi MOMENTS when they start attending to premeries together or maybe some other events like the Grammys or New Year’s Eve, I think we will catch some moments between them!
And I totally love Joe’s smile when the interviewer asked about their love lives and it also looks like he was blushing and trying to hide it, so cute!
I actually don’t expect a Jemi Outing until Demi’s 18th birthday. I think they will secretly date until then, and after her 18th birthday they will make it official. And I’m totally fine with that and I can understand that they want to wait, because in the end both would get judged because of their age, especially Joe, I don’t think this would be very comfortable for him if the media and some celebs will start shitting about Joe dating a 17 year old. I can remember that Trace was judged about that too!
That way they can slowly develop their relationship and it will last longer than their other ones, because both of them always kind of rushed into it! This time, they were friends and then slowly started discussing wether to try a relationship or not and now they are probably dating, so it took them a long time and they know each other pretty well so I don’t think it will have a bad ending like with Taylor, Camilla, Trace and all those others.
I guess they will try to hide it as good as they can, which means that they will probably show up with someone else to “distract” the media from the Jemi rumors.
I guess Joe will be seen with Chelsea soon, because they will start filming JONAS soon, and I really like that girl and I think that she isn’t really interested in him in that way. For Demi I guess she will tweet some things that make her sound single.
I won’t give up my hope because of anything, because I supported them for such a long time now and I can clearly see their chemistry and their smiles when they are around each other, and that’s my opinion and I will keep my opinion no matter what.
No Pixie or whatever drama we had the last days/weeks will change that!

No nomination for Demi this year. That sucks, I guess the people who make the decisions didn’t listen to her album they just saw the Disney Label and went by the sales numbers. Demi is still young she will have many other chances to win a Grammy. But seriously Taylor Swift is not that good. Why is she getting so much nominations. I hope Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem,, and Lady Gaga win all the nominations they have.

I agree too about Taylor… I enjoy her music and think she is talented, but Demi is far more versatile and there are a lot of other deserving nominees. I think particularly Taylor shouldn’t have been nominated for Female Vocal Performance as her voice is nice but not as great as others… which I think vocal performance should really honor in their nominations. But anyway I guess it’s done now. I just hope Jemi are maybe have a post show catch up (I noticed Demi hasn’t tweeted again for nearly 24 hrs… hopefully she is busy with more important things!) 😀
does anyone else think that grammy nominations are more based on a persons popularity than talent. i’m not saying i don’t like some of the artist that are nominated but there are soooo many talented artist out there and the nominations seemed to only be given out to a few artist. the same artist are recycled and used in every stinkin award show!!! i’m so mad demi wasn’t recognized. she is a much better performer and has a much better voice, especially live, in comparison to taylor swift. i love taylor swifts music but i just feel this is so unfair. even the jb got nominations last year. again like i said if demi was really popular she probably would’ve gotten the nomination. she doesn’t even get played on many radio stations 😦

I’m with you girl! Demi deserves way more recognition than she’s getting right now. And I get so frustrated because I wish she got the attention she so rightfully deserves.
I’m soo there with ya sista!!! I also think it has to do with album sales and things like that. while Taylor’s music is good, I think that she is being over populated. I mean, even when she first came on the scene, I think she was nominated as best new artist for a grammy and and AMA. I could be wrong on that one though. If that makes sense. Where as with our girl, she has in my opinion way more talent than taylor does and still she’s not getting the recognition that she rightfully deserves. I agree, I think that this is unfair. It makes me upset that Demi isn’t getting the recognition, air play, etc. that she deserves to get. I love Taylor’s music but she is definitely overrated. Yes she can write but it’s all about one thing. The guy that broke her heart. Can’t she write about other things? Demi on the other hand is so underrated. Are people blind and deaf? Can’t they see Demi’s talent? Yes she’s from Disney but that doesn’t mean she’s not talented. I just hate people who judge her for not having talent because she’s from disney.
I know right! Like all of taylors songs so far have been about ex boyfriends… like we get it, move on to something else. She is a great songwriter, don’t get me wrong, but lately that’s all taylors been writing about is the guy’s that broke her heart.
After the show whole the Black Eyed Peas were closing, the tv said something like the nominees are chosen by maybe 1000 people on some sort of committee or group or something. I know I’m terrible at explaining but my point is that there needs to be maybe some sort of way to let the fans choose. Problem is, whenever fans choose they choose Taylor. I like her and all but I’m starting to agree with my mom that she is a bit overrated. She and her music are awesome but I was interested in maybe hearing of some new people. Listening to what they have to offer. Giving people like Demi a good shot. I mean age of people receiving Grammy’s are getting younger and younger. I think there are a lot of other people and I would like to broaden my music interest range and when the nominees are the usuals then….. I mean I know the nominees are excited and happy and I’m happy for them but I think the voter people need to look past the names and artists and into the music.

I sooo agree!!! Even my mom is starting to think that taylor is a bit overrated. I mean, even justin bieber didn’t get nominated….There where a whole bunch of bands, people from different genres of music that I listen to that aren’t even nominated but have had an awesome year.

I agree that Demi should have been nominated. I really do think that her time will come one day and the Grammys will recognize her talent… she can sing, write, dance and act. Demi is seriously deserving of a Grammy and at least her fans realize that!
On the plus side maybe this will leave Demi out of the public eye for a little bit and Joe and Demi can have some private time to get things back on track. I’m just trying to stay positive and keep hoping that Jemi is stronger than we could ever imagine.
In one of Nick’s recent interviews he said that Kevin had been thinking about marriage for a while. I think this shows that JB like to keep things private and downplay romance… it also gives me hope that maybe Jemi are closer than we are able to see at this moment in time. 😀
Let’s be honest, Demi’s 2nd album isn’t good enough to nominate her for a GRAMMY. I agree with Travis Clark (from We the Kings band). She has way more talent than what we heard from her. Her songs doesn’t show half her talent. She seriously needs a high quality album with smart professional writers and music producers to help showcase her beautiful big voice. She can continue develop her talent as a songwriter but she really NEEDS some guide from people like John Mayer and others. He was able to help her in just two songs which excellent! but next time songs like that should be up there as SINGLES. It is very stupid to add SWAC’s song to the ALBUM. What are they thinking? There is a SWAC DVD for that. Do you think the voters from the Grammys would take Demi seriously after hearing that song after songs like World Of Chances. Puhleassssse!
Play time is over. Demi should continue working with big artists which is GREAT. She already recorded a duet with Avril Lavigne. Now if only she DECIDES on what songs to include in her album, she’ll be fine. Don’t say there is no hope and Disney bla bla bluh! I’m sure Disney will help her (with whatever they have) to prove to the world that they can produce great young artists. They know she is the best thing that happened to them, because she obviously HAS THE TALENT. The phase of introducing Demi to the kids is OVER. Now it’s time for her to fly and be the big deal.
Hopefully, her 3rd album will deliver some great high-quality mature songs for adults to listen to and who knows if there is a duet with say Kelly Clarkson (just guessing from her tweet posted in October). *fingers crossed* Remember she has all the time to grow with her music. We don’t want an early crazy overrated success that Taylor Swift is getting. We want her to be there in the music world for a long long time. She doesn’t need breakups or scandals or nude pictures to become famous. If it will take her ages to be known (I doubt it) so be it.
You are so right. Demi has the talent to succeed. Just remember the songs from her Demo, they weren’t as professionally produced but are still some of her strongest original work. I think For Love of A Daughter will be her breakthrough song into the mainstream. I hope she is producing an album for fall of next year. I know she will just get more and more fans each year. Her first album came in 2nd. Her next came in 1st for a week, her 3rd will come in first and last longer than 2 weeks. And so on and so on as she grows. Taylor has some talent but was lucky to end up in a scandal that brought her to national attention. Lady Gaga manages to bring her own attention, plus she has talent so of course she sells records. Demi has immense talent but is able to avoid major scandals and is to modest to try to bring attention to herself by her outfit choices.

I think Demi will probably finish the second season of SWAC and then promote Camp Rock 2. Hopefully after that she will take some time out and really devote a solid block of energy to songwriting and working with the best people.
She has such a great talent and we obviously have not heard the best from her yet. I think the fact that she didn’t include the other John Mayer song and the song she co-wrote with William Beckett was a sign that she was perhaps not putting out her best material yet.
I still love songs like Catch Me, World of Chances and Stop the World in particular, and I think once she has made it through all the promotion for Camp Rock and SWAC she will be ready to go the way of Nick J and really be a contender on the music scene. Anyone that hears her sing live cannot deny her talent and I think it will be only a matter of time before she is recognized and validated by the Grammys.

Also agree! I think she’s been writing a little. Remember her tweets back when she was in Toronto about wanting to get on the piano and get the song out of her. Oh yeah and that song about the green sweater….jk but maybe that means she was writing at the time. I also hope she releases a more mature album. I love the new one because it does have a more matur sound than the first one. She said that the first one she wanted it to be catchy. The second a bit more mature. I do agree though that it wouldve been better with So Far So Great and Gift of a Friend. But they took the place o For the Love of a Daughter and Shut Up and Love Me. Hopefully those will be on the next album. She said that she took those off because he thought they were a little mature for her fans and she didn’t want the topics to be ones that parents would have to explain to ther kids. She wanted her fans to grow with her music. Hopefully she can perform at the Grammy’s and win one the next year!

Demi broke up with Alex in the FIRST week of December 2008, because he cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend and so she dedicated “Gonna Get Caught” in her Wiltern concert (back in 8-Dec-08) to him obviously. On the other hand, Joe was super happy that day if you remember seeing him in Demi’s Deluxe DVD standing in front of her dressing room pointing at her name. Also all the beautiful memories of them spending Christmas together molding, playing laser tag, watching movies and other stuff was OF COURSE in December along with New Year’s Eve. The song mentions the problem of some people trying to pursue a person to leave his girlfriend for some reason. In Jemi’s case it is the AGE difference. So Demi asks this person (JOE JONAS) to NOT listen to those people and just remember their December.
So it CAN NOT be Alex. If there is any song in her album that is dedicated to him, it’s “Every Time You Lie” (in my opinion). Remember December screams Mr. JOE JONAS with out any doubt in mind as well as Catch Me and Stop the World. Joe and Demi are the modern Romeo and Juliet. In addition, Demi has dedicated her album to someone VERY special that she’ll ALWAYS love. Remember? Go read it again.

I’m feeling something strange in the air, I think joe and demi are estranged, it will not Twitter for the jonas brothers, they returned to LA and it has not welcome. I do not know very strange if nothing had happened and they did not attach to these “RUMORS” if they continue talking normally, but this is not what we’re seeing, something is wrong, and we have to figure out what.
I really think they are mad at eachother and fighting and i have a theory but you guys probably will call me crazy…

I think joe and demi had a fight when he was in Europe. She did something that Joe didn’t like. I think Demi partied too much with her “new” friends and like some rumors said she was drunk in some of these days, if she did something worse I don’t know… I think Joe asked her to calm down and she didn’t listen. This was in the night when she tweet “dismissed” in 8 November. They fought and stopped talking. Demi after this started to acted childish, and wrote on twitter how happy she was, how she loved the week with her friends, how good was the parties and concerts she went. All of this to prove to Joe that she does however she wants.
And if you guys check Joe performances in, Madrid, Antwerp, Rotterdam, cologne, UK and Paris, you will see a hyper Joe trying to hide how hurt he was, he started to say he wanted to date everybody, he needed a date for kevin’s wedding, he started flirting with everybody and act like he was single, to hurt Demi. Check Joe Love Bug, Tonight, Still in Love with You, World war III, turn right Performances … and this is only an example, compared them to the performances in Italy when everything was okay.
Demi believed that she was right to party like the way she did and thought Joe would talk to her again but when she realized that he was really upset, was too late. She tweet the song “All I wanted was you” – Paramore” and “Before the Storm”. I think she was trying to apologize but he didn’t accept and tweet that Pixie Song “Cry me out” to Demi.
Demi keep trying but Joe didn’t want to talk to her, that interviews in AMA when she talks the romance between mitchie and shane was when she was trying to have Joe back. She tweet that Whitney Houston song “I look to you” and said let this video talk to you, she tweet “we make sense”, and “happiness is a choice…”. Joe was really hurt and didn’t gave a chance and probably said he was staying in Paris for the weekend and Demi give up and tweet the song “Salute” Whitney Houston. Almost the songs they tweet mean something they want to say to somebody…

Well! It’s weird but they could have had a discussion. But, If I assume they had one so a need to assume they “are in something more intimate” than a friend and If I assume that I need to say that I have a feeling (I know I have already mentioned that) they have been is thin Nonoficial thing since CR.
Why do I say that? When I heard Demi’s songs and analyze her lyrics they claim that to me. And If we payed attention on her LYrics we can “see” they are often “mad” with each other (not really meanfull but stressfull). Besides She said in most of the song “we fight for nothing, yell for nothing”…I can’t stand you anymore, but i can’t live or be with or without…and she keeps repeating those things in both cds.
As for each other level love. I believe they “love” each other the same way,but in her own words “cause together melt the ice” or we’re so different but opposites atract, and other and can’t remember now.
In my view, she maybe calls them opposites cause Joe is outing, can’t hide his true feelings and ever needs to be on focus, no matter what. The other hand, Demi is more carefull, avoids some things and subjects. He is more “oyester” than him.
I know they kind to act the sam way and that both always try to be the goofs but their reactions are different.
