I’ve seen Jordan and his brother in a number of group shots of Demi with her friends, I think the first of the two photos was from the bunch of photos taken in November the night when she was hanging out with Jac, Nicole and Jeffree. Chase Jordan are part of that group of friends. I don’t think there is anything particular going on with Demi and Jordan as he is as close with the other girl in the photos as he is with Demi. Just shows you 2 photos taken out of context can cause a storm. PLUS I think if there was anything going on we wouldn’t see these photos!

My personal opinion is I think that eventually Camilla kind of had a feeling about how Joe and Demi felt for each other and she just hung in there for whatever reason. She is not dumb or clueless. I mean what can you do if the guy you are dating have feelings for someone else and is still with you? Stay with him if he doesn’t break it off.
Jamilla dated, I think, because Joe has always had a celebrity crush on her and he couldn’t date Demi but I think that once Jamilla dated he found out it wasn’t what he imagined. I don’t think that he was ever in love with Camilla, just had a crush on her. That is why he bounced back soo fast after the breakup, which probably happened before everyone thought that it had.Joe stopped wearing THE necklace like 1-2 week before people are like ” ahhh, they broke up. First of all yes Demi’s casual friends would talk about Joe like that even if Jemi were dating. Joe is “HOT”, no doubt about it. It’s not like they are saying that they want to jump him or date him, they are just stating the truth.
Now if these girls are Demi close friends/BFF then they wouldn’t talk like that about Joe IF they knwo the true situation between Jemi.
I very much doubt a lot of Demi so called “friends” except her BFF know the true situation between Joe and Demi. Demi has a lot of friends (casual) and close friends. That girl is friends with guys,girls, gays, transsexual you name it. So unless you see Demi kissing on a certain guy or being constantly real flirty/more than friendly with any other guy than Joe then she is still free. Same goes for Joe with girls.
If you see them dating someone other than each other then you know they are still free. No matter how JB/Demi hides stuff their REAL relationship/dates eventually gets caught out.

Wow, why is it that most of the new people on this site are doubtful about Jemi? Are they just all the same person using different accounts? well personally I am not doubting. I’m just stating there might be something going on. I don’t want jemi now and I dont think they are happening now. The ocean’s too rough and they should wait till they are over the exes and know what they are feeling. I don’t see why we can’t say what we feel, we still believe in jemi its just sometimes things are pointing to other directions. I also think we sometimes need to be more realistic and stop reading into things too much.
I agree Adiona we should keep our faith in Jemi and stop jumping into conclusions just because Chelsea may have tweeted something and is a good friend of joe’s. it’s just like the Brenda situation again. Assumptions. Just how we think Jemi is an assumption but it’s more likely to happen then another girl Joe has interacted with. We have to be realistic but there’s no need to come over to this site with big doubts and placing them on everyone else. We come here to rejoice in Jemi even if its true or not so stop with the doubts or just find another site because you sound like Jemi doubters.
I am not directing my posts to anyone specific. As I said I think it’s fair to say that people have doubts. I by no means think everything is smooth sailing or that any current and/or future jemi relationship with be perfect or uncomplicated. But I also think this site was primarily created as a space for people to support jemi and for those of us who do believe in jemi to be able to share our thoughts etc.
In that way we are very optimistic and read into things. In my opinion that’s the point of this site. I also appreciate hearing other people’s thoughts about jemi and as I said it’s fine if you have doubts.
But I think what other people are expressing on this site is that everyday more and more people seem to come to jemistry and bring in all this negativity about jemi. There are plenty of other places where you can express these thoughts. But for us, other forums like OU etc are not somewhere we can discuss openly our feelings about Joe and Demi without getting a lot of drama.
Like I said, not every doubt is necessarily a bad thing. But when every day more and more people start repeating the same things it changes the dynamic of the site and how people feel coming here. I just think it’s unnecessary for some people to repeatedly post doubts here, particularly when we’ve asked that you don’t.
I don’t mind if people who once supported jemi are now unsure. I can understand that. But for me, I think since we don’t know for sure either way I would rather think positively and be optimistic. That might sound naive, but I think there are worse things to be in the world than remaining hopeful about a couple that so clearly are meant to be.
@tia You’re right. Some people do project their doubts in a discouraging way. But for others they are simply stating facts that need to be heard even if we don’t want to hear.
I like to think that Jemi are currently together because well I’m a jemi shipper. And i do have doubts but I give way to think of the positives rather than the negatives.
Such as: The two songs Joe tweeted ‘Amazed’ and ‘Please forgive me’ if you read the lyrics they are closely linked with the person falling more in love and getting closer to a certain somebody. How there life is getting better with the other person in it and things like that. And Because Demi recently tweeted a love song it kind of links up.
Demi tends to tweet love songs when she’s dating someone such as in the case of Trace and Dirk. And it’s as though her and Joe are tweeting each other through songs. Like how Demi’s tweet is favourited on the Jonas Brothers twitter page. Just the little things.
Sure they could be tweeting these songs because they purely enjoy it but then again they tweet it for a reason. Especially for Demi. Music is her way of communication.

Blarg I 100% agree with you and feel exactly the same way. A few months ago this was a great place. No one felt the need to fight or be a hater. In my opinion we’ve had more evidence that jemi is happening than ever before, and yet people still feel the need to share their doubts on a website that was created for the opposite reason.
I might return here if it gets any better, but otherwise I will leave the haters to themselves and just check the news. If the doubters bothered to read any of the previous posts they might have realized that a lot of us simply come to jemistry to support a couple we believe in (I may be optimistic but let me assure you I’m not crazy). I actually think we’re being pretty realistic compared with other sites about couples and that our support is not just based in fantasy. But anyway I can’t be bothered to explain myself anymore when others like blarg have done so very eloquently before and yet you choose to ignore their reasoning.

1. Until Demi or Joe is positively known to be dating someone other than each other I will not give up hope on them.
2. Until Joe or Demi gets married to someone other than each other I will not give up on them.

Yeah truly I believe that Chelsea is dating some other guy other than Joe. I am kind of a detective but here is my proof.I am not in fantasy land or wishing here.
1) Go back on Chelsea twitter to like Christmas eve around that time. Seh was in LA and she tweeted about a situation where she was out in the desert, with candles, guitar/music and some random guy just interrupting the moment.
2) Now what is she doing out in the desert with candles and music etc if she wasn’t with a special guy on a date?
3) That would be weird if she was by herself or with girls. Candles and music spells out a romantic evening to me.
4) Then she came to TX to attend Nick concert after that. Joe has been in TX since they left NYC like 21 or 22 Dec so it couldn’t have been him with Chelsea in LA then.
5) So I am sure that Chelsea has a BF already and her chance with Joe has passed since he met Demi, fell in love with Demi AND she is close to legal age (18) now. Joe would be a fool to pass that up that opportunity. I called him a fool when he dated Camilla but i think that he has wised up now. LOL
This is a site for people who hold out hope that Jemi is or will eb together.

Demi feels safe with her so called casual dating lifestyle and her questionable friends because there is not a lot of chances of being hurt there.

I know that Joe and Demi love each other, I am 99% sure of that, but anyone can get tired of a scaredy cat and just want someone who will stand by them no matter what happens or the hate that comes.
I think that Joe is ready to commit to Demi but Demi has suffered to much at the hands of guys she has trusted in the past. A lot of her friendships now seem very superficial, there is no real depth and except for her friends from Texas she doesn’t have many friends that have known her for longer than two years. Now that her and Selena don’t seem as close anymore. I think Demi prefers to have these fake kind of friendships were she doesn’t have to invest a lot of her feelings into it because she is afraid of getting hurt again. With all the Jonas brothers you can see how much Demi and them care about each other and they might be the only guys besides Nolan and Keith who Demi trust right now. If she started to date Joe she could end up losing so much if it didn’t work out. But I think Demi doesn’t trust herself, I think she knows Joe would treat her good but is afraid that she would do something to ruin a relationship. That’s why she is so defensive about Jemi because she knows that its real but is afraid of trying to make it work and then screwing it up and ruining her great friendships. At the same time she understands that she is having trouble hiding her feelings so she decided to separate from Joe to give herself time to get control of her heart again. Joe feels left out and upset that Demi runs from him all the time so he tries to keep busy and meet up with friends. Now he has a twitter to keep up with fans but to also show Demi that she can reach out anytime she wants and he will be there.

First of all, Nick and Selena are both 17 years old and there is nothing that can spoil their image, like age difference and all.
While Joe and Demi have the AGE problem. Disney and their families won’t allow them date till Demi is 18. Remember the countdown she did in twitter back in March 2009? 499 days left, 498, 497….486….etc. They want to maintain their clean image. They are not like Miley. They have rules to follow and I respect them for that.

Plus my life is pathetic, I lost my best friend in kindergarden, I got over it and in 5th grade I made another best friend in grade 6 she ditched me and now I feel like I’m losing my third best friend. My relationship with a boy ended badly.
And that’s the main reason why I’m here hating: To escape the world where I keep losing people I trust, plain and simple.

Actually, I honestly feel sorry for you. I’m sorry that you have to go through all this right now, but let me tell you this: You won’t feel better if you hate here, because as you may have already noticed, you can’t really hurt us as much, as other people were hurting you.
I know what you’re talking about, I had a best friend for years, she was my everything, she was there for me all the way and we were together every day, but then suddenly she started to talk more and more to this other girl in my class and she started shouting at me and being annoyed with me and all that, and then I lost her. She just left, She left me during the time my parents were getting a divorce and I felt like I can’t take it.
I did bad stuff back then, cutting included because I thought it would help. I lost hope in other people, because my dad left too and went to Ireland.
I stopped talking to other people, I went to school, went home, studied and went to bed. I wasn’t going out or anything.
But all I can say is, you have to make it through this, there will be better, happier times!
Of yourse you are allowed to have friends, it’s your right to have them!
The only problem is that, finding a best friend, a REAL FRIEND is a process that can take some time.
I found mine 1 and a half year ago, and this time I know that she won’t turn her back on me.
Once you start to trust people again, you will make new friends, and you will have fun again, you just need a little faith.
Right now you need time, and someday it won’t hurt anymore, you’ll see!

hehe, yep a good good night indeed! Joe’s such a perfect candidate for twitter. He’s someone that can’t hide his feelings… and he probably couldn’t wait to tweet Demi. I’m fine if they don’t say anything too obvious via twitter, but it still really made me smile when he reached out to Demi first. I figure, Joe + Demi + DVDs + Icecream + Couch = <3. 😀
It’s been great to see how strong all you Jemi believers are. 😀 And I think you’re right that the best way is to just ignore the haters and make them invisible.
But anyway I can’t help but say how much it made me smile to see Joe’s tweet and to know that even after everything there is something between Joe and Demi that nothing will ever change… a true friendship and love. And the fact that he is now calling her his best friend instead of his sister is a brilliant sign. A best friend is the perfect person to become your long-term partner.
My thoughts are that all of this is just leading up to the day when Joe and Demi will be able to walk hand in hand together. I really do think the song “Love is Waiting” perfectly summed up everything. They definitely have told each other how they feel, and that they’re just waiting for the time to be right to come out into the open and be 100% serious. I have no doubt that one day that will happen, but for now I am just happy that nothing ZT tried to do stopped jemi from being closer in the end.
I also love how Joe said that he love’s Demi in that radio interview. You can tell he means it will all his heart. I think that in the future it all paves the way for jemi to just say that they grew closer and realized they were more than just best friends.
And I can totally see Joe and Demi curled up on the couch tonight watching Grey’s Anatomy and eating icecream (sandwiches). 😉 JEMI FTW!
When have any of the JB (especially Joe) said that he loves a girl VERY MUCH.” I am just pointing this out. Even if she is just a friend.
The JB (all of them) have said before in an interview “yeah we love her” (referring to Miley and her problems that she was having at the time) but I have never heard them say ” love VERY MUCH” to anyone they considered just a plain friend or best friend forever. Not even just Nick talking about Miley.
Yeah, Joe and Demi is probably taking it VEEEEEEEEEERY SLOOOOOOOW right now, getting to know each other more and seeing if what they have would/can turn into something stronger and long lasting.
I actually think that is what they are not dating. I don’t think that they are “officially” dating but they probably have some kind of agreement to just hang out and see what can happen.
I don’t know if they also decided to date other people if they meet anyone that they really like in the meantime while they are deciding on their Jemi relationship. I hope not.

thats great! i think its really good that Joe is also trying to hide any potential relationship between them, calling her his bff n’ all. but he’s not lying at all, which is the cool part. they can date but still bffs, thats what Demi has said she wants in a guy, to be her best friend.
Joe played his words very well, i think. He said that she’s very strong and can stand up for herself. We’ve seen Demi do that a lot since Zack Taylor got intot he picture. I cant help but think he’s referring to that in some way, because it fits very well. She doesnt care if people think they are dating, and if her “friends” leak info she will still deny it and stay strong 🙂 Im sure thats one thing that Joe really admires, because its keeping their privacy really well.

either way, i am really happy they are taking it slow. You can tell. Id rather it take six years for them to become official (it will definitely not take that long ahah) and then be togethr for the rest of their lives because they took the right pace and made sure this was the right thing for them, than waiting one year for them to be official and not have the best foundation for their relationship.
