Of course by now you all should know that Joe and Demi have decided to split up and end their relationship as Boyfriend and Girlfriend. In the People article that Joe announced the breakup in he said that it was his way of saving their friendship.
Now there are many rumors going around on twitter and other internet sites about what could have caused them to split so suddenly from what appeared to be a very loving relationship. We here at Jemistry aren’t going to try to speculate on the cause, but we do feel that this “relationship” is not as dead and buried as some Jemi haters want to believe.
Below are two pictures from today. One of Joe and One of Demi. They are wearing particular items which many people have assumed are tokens of their love. I for one hope that they are cause they are still wearing them, and wearing them proudly.
Let’s hope that the current situation between Joe and Demi is just one chapter in the ongoing story of love that is Jemi and that this story has not yet finished. As Demi sang in “Stop The World” – I’ll turn another page, won’t close the book.

Demi and Joe are both wearing that jewlery they apparently gave to each other. Plus Demi sang ‘You told me on a Thursday that it wasn’t gonna work…’ and Zack Taylor said that Jemi are on a time-out last Friday. He was the first one to say something about the ending of the relationship but he said they’re having strong feelings for each other and things just went too fast for Joe.

Did anyone else notice that the last time Demi tweeted Infatuation was 29th September 2009 when she was working on Camp Rock 2 (go back to the post for 28th September about MDOT and you will see it is mentioned in some of the comments)?
Jemi love road is so full of supprise. Just some months ago they still were saying over and over that they were still friends, and baaaam, they were dating. And just when they were all lovey-dovey, baaaam, they broke up. So yeah, I just want to say that we can keep our hope. Who knows, maybe on Demi’s brithday they would anounce their engagement??? Loool…
But of course like all Jemi fans I was shocked and sad about their breakup. And like Ada, I was mad at Joe. I mean did he really need to say that it was his choice to breakup with her??? Why not something like things didnt work out between us??? Because he said that, and if they want to get back together, Demi will seem dumb and disregarded. I mean, where is a girl’s pride???
But then, I would love to see Joe drooling all over Demi on this summertour when she dances her ass off. Because according to some witnessers on GMA, and suppose that they’ve already broken up by that time, Joe was staring at her all the time ^^. Yeah I don’t know what happened between Jemi where just a 1 week before the breakup they were still kissing, hugging all over each other, AND THAT WAS JOE doing most of it soooooo…. just strange.
Anyway whatever, if things were going too fast for him, she was tempting him too much, he wanted to protect the friendship or her from fans hate (whatever Joe is telling himself) I don’t think that it will be that easy for him to see another guy drooling all over Demi.

Yeah I don’t buy the Demi clingy part. The only thing that Demi did was say how she feels and it was totally obvious that she expected the relationship to last a long time. That is how every girl feel. You don’t expect to date a guy and expect it to last 2-3 months etc.. expecially when you knwo you love ach other and are BFF.
If any girl says that they do then they are lying or don’t think much of themselves or the guy. Demi is not the one who is always touchy feely in public(except in that yogurt shop or whatever), it is Joe who is always hugging her, reaching for and holding her hand, actually kissing her on the forehead like he did during the JONAS set beach video and at teh OCEANS premiere.
The haters/doubters or whoever just secretly like a single Joe or have hopes that he will notice them and date them. They convince themselves that they are all about supporting JB because a certain girl is not the right one for Nick/Joe. Now I can agree Camilla wasn’t because it was such a strange relationship from the get go. I can see Joe dating all his other Ex’s, even Taylor but never Camilla. Weird.

1)Joe’s confused about how he TRULY feels for Demi. Demi being too in love with him made him confused. And he decides to break up because he doesn’t want to ruin the Friendship they built for 3 years.
2)Pressure from the media can also be the reason for their break up. Most of Fans/media think they are for PR.And the tour made it more convincing for people who think they are for PR.They supposed to be focusing on the tour but they are more interested in them.
3)Maybe they are taking a break for a while to calm things down from media or maybe themselves. Then when the time is right they give another shot for their relationship.
4)They want to focus on their career first. While Joe is busy for his solo album (?) and maybe Demi busy with her tour or her next album.
5)They are young and still trying to figure out what love really is. They don’t want to take things TOO seriously and maybe one of them is too afraid to take the risk and don’t want to ruin their friendship went something bad happens in the future.
6)They get sick of people keep asking things about their relationship and it’s hard for them to keep things private.
7)They Secretly Dating and faking a break up so they can stop all STUPID Rumors and People stalking them every second of their life’s.

That is a big reason why I say that there is something not right about the breakup. Demi being and acting all happy and normal like nothing happened. Joe being his usual self.
Demi, as we have observed throughout the last two years, if she have strong feeling for a guy (or having problems with friends) usually shows it someway.
Demi was ( I think still) obviously deeply in love with Joe. So for her to still be all giggly, happy, not emo on her tweets and bringing up JB name voluntarily during her concerts is not the Demi that we have observed these past few years. Why is she bringing up JB? It is her concert with her songs right?
No matter if she is putting on a front for Joe some of what she is truly feeling would come through her concert or her Twitter.

I am with you guys on all of this. I am so confused about all of this break up drama right now it’s not even funny. I mean I don’t get Joe’s theory of breaking up to save their friendship. I mean they seemed completly in love and fine not to long ago and then this? Joe had to have been 100% sure this was going to work before they commited themeselves into a relationship with eachother, beacause we all know how important their friendship is. And as much as I want to believe that they can still come out of any situation and still remain best friends, I feel like it can’t be entirely true. I dont know why but I’m not worried about Jemi. I think there are reasons that force them to breakup, not because they dont love each other. So when they are more mature and have the power to control their own life, they can get back together!!! All those 3 years, their bond has been stronger and stronger, so I believe it would be much much stronger in the future.

I think that Joe and Demi whenever they were mad at each other always made little digs at each other like that. Nothing major. We just never noticed it before because they weren’t dating.
It was obvious during a Twitter comment in like June or July 09 Joe made something like “Great JB concert. At least I didn’t fall down.” That was when JB was on their tour, Demi on her tour and Demi fell down BAD during her concert. Everyone was talking about her fall.

I’ve already said this before….Jemi are the Romeo and Juliet of Hollywood. Demi’s sister Dallas have tweeted “Romeo & Juliet” twice the day everyone was freaking out about the shocking break-up. That break up is soooooooo FISHY! Since we saw how Joe was still checking Demi out at GMA and even week before he was all over her in the beach video. The Jonas Brothers (Nick and Joe always have this weird off and on relationships going on whenever there is something to promote. I feel so sorry for them, cause even when they are dating girls they TRULY love, they have to break up with them because of those STUPID people who are controlling their lives. They can’t “Stop the World” sadly! That’s the truth. 😦 Unless they run away OR those people leave them ALONE!

I think their break-up is fishy too…I only have two opinions on what happened. #1. Joe is doing what he is being told to by the JG. #2. Joe got scared at how fast the relationship was moving and what Demi was saying to the media, and did a typical guy thing and ran when things got scary and hard…because I don’t think Joe ‘just loves her as a friend’, he always looked so in love with her…and Demi changing lyrics to her songs tells me that they’re not faking a breakup to get everyone off of their backs…I almost don’t care anymore though…I love Jemi, but I really want Demi to be happy right at this moment…she’s prob seriously hurt and not ready for Jemi 2.0.

I´m not a Jonas fan but kevin was the one i respected the most, but now he´s getting on my nerves because the way he treats Demi, don´t like him anymore, i don´t know guys but i cried really hard for Demi, i feel so bad for her, she didn´t deserve that humilliation, never thought joe would be like that i´m so disappointed, and now she has to put a smile on her face and pretend that everything is okay when we know she´s hurt, wish she wasn´t on that JB tour, i´m tired of seeing Demi under the Jonas shadow, this is like a step back in her career, i went to her concert in Colombia and WOW one of the best nights of my life, she´s SO GORGEOUS, and the energy she puts on the stage is incredible, it was a dream come true because i´m a huge fan of her, she deserves the best things in this world, and it´s cool that you guys keep the jemi faith, i´ve been a fan since camp rock, and always visited and commented on this site, but for me what Joe did was really hurtful, i´m so mad at him, i don´t want to upset anybody but that is what i feel, on the other hand i just heard the preview of the jemi duet in camp rock 2 “Wouldn´t change a thing” (almost cried, i think i´m really emotional) wow i love it, can´t wait for the movie.

I think the two theories are related.On one side Joe chickened out. Thinking about it, I believe that one of the reasons of his big crush on Camilia was that she didn’t care about him. Each time a girl loves him, he ran away. Taylor loved him but he didn’t, he loved Camilia but she didn’t: he loved Demi and Demi loved him, too much for him. I still think Joe is really an insecure guy and Demi was being too sure about their relationship. I’m sure they spoke before going in the relationship about her seriousness, you don’t date your best friend just for fun. And there were all that people saying how great they were together, Jos saw himself married with kids and ran away. On the other hand there were all that people near to him saying how Demi wasn’t the right girl. Kevin looks like the controlling type and Joe like the controlled one. The result of all of this is a lot of pressure, and let’s face it: joe doesn’t take pressure in his love life.
About how Demi feels… It must be horrible, I’m sure Joe pratically forced himself into her life and now that she let him in, she ran away. She told the world she has had a crush on him for years…He made her look like a dumb. She still obviously loves him.
