I totally agree with you. If Jemi don’t get back together their friendship will not be the same nor can it. There will still be the anger, resentment and whatever else in the way. I noticed that too. So far I have a few random theories..
1. It is actually really hot in the UK right now and we aren’t as good at air conditioning as in the States. Anyone who wears a large ring will tell you that they can get very uncomfortable in humid weather. So removed to necklace for comfort.
2. Maybe he is having some guilt about the way he treated Demi (the ring is about treating women with respect right?) so he has removed it to remind himself. Wouldn’t put it past him to do that although that then throws into question why Nick removed his?
3. He is playing a lot of guitar (the alleged reason Nick put his on a chain) – although it never seems to have bothered Kevin.
4. He is up to no good.
Um…no. That’s not it. The purity rings will be phased out after this year. They’re getting fans used to not seeing them on their fingers. They’re just props now anyway. And it’s not “no good” that he’s up to. He’s a grown man. Get used to it. He can do what he wants.

1) She is a very smart girl. She pretended that she DIDN’T CARE at all about who he was dating. ALSO being a friend with his past girlfriends (except Camilla) brought hundreds of different questions to his mind. Like “Why is she cool about the whole situation?” “Why is she very close to my girlfriends?!” “Does she really see me as a “brother”?” “How could she date all these guys and NOT notice me?”……..etc.
With all these questions you think he didn’t fall (even more) in love with her. Men love girls who are HARD to read. She was not obvious till recently and we all agree. You could tell he hated when people & media called them “brother & sister” which is another thing Demi enjoyed to use in front of him. I always thought she was doing it in purpose, because she pays attention to his reaction later. 😉 It worked perfectly! Dating all those beautiful “perfect” girls turned out to be really boring to him whenever Demi was back to his life because of concerts or Disney work, he forgets about WHOEVER he is dating. That girl might not be a tall “model” or a “movie star”, but she has the most beautiful personality. Something makes her SO sexy to men. But no doubt VERY smart young lady!
2)I agree, but we will never know the answer to that question. However when it comes to “true love”, Joe becomes this “Venus Virgo” man that we didn’t know before (How many times did he fall in “love” before?). The shy insecure boy who has to make sure the girl he loves…LOVES HIM before he makes his first move (Why I’m not surprised here?). Wanting to think or not think (AT ALL)…finding it awkward….LMAO! Getting up and going running, listening to Coldplay.. Demi now has even more in common with Joe .. I’m starting to think she is really determined that the reunion goes well. I love, love, love that she always works really hard for what she wants.

well i am not going to say not to hate hime but he’s a guy so he has his reason not showing affection like demi. I think she matters a lot to him for him to make a statement back. You know like how he wrote about taylor after what she did and same with camilla? Demi is his best friend so he won’t show anything as a example of he won’t be defeated. In a way its very brilliant that he does nothing cause he then makes demi mad or jealous. Maybe that’s his way of statement. Trust me joe is sneaky and don’t be fooled by his “purity” or anything. he is very smart be careful what you say. I think he is testing demi and see how she reacts to this break up. Possibly I’m reading to much into this as I also thought Joe saying ”Got to Get You Into My Life’ is pretty incredible.’ about his favourite Paul McCartney performance in Hyde Park was interesting too. I watched Paul M’s concert on video and it was by no means his best performance of the day, but the song is all about needing to be close to someone who you are meant for(if you don’t know it Google the lyrics and you’ll see what I mean).
i noticed all those things too and i found them very interesting……..and when demi talked about them being her favorite songs she kinda had a blank look in her eyes…..almost sad and almost like she was holding back…..hmmmmmmmmm……

Yes that is a bit odd, I thought it would be to do with the technology and fancy sets not being ready on time or something like that, because it was the first couple of weeks shows that disappeared.
is it me or does the jobros not mention demi performing with them on this tour as they always did. I mean I’ve notice they say “who’s ready for out tour?” they never included demi in their tweets.I remember other tours they’d go crazy with burning up tour when demi went with them. plus them canceling shows like that is not jobros of them. I think that was a little shallow to do cause i mean you have to think about when they first started that they had a group of girls and look how their group expanded. What if she does know for sure? Maybe your wishful thinking is just ridiculous! Just because you don’t want to hear the truth doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hear it. It’s one thing to like a couple, it’s another thing to be completely in denial of reality, which most everyone here is. I think that their happiness is much more important than yours! Demi is just like any 17 year old girl,actually any woman, who fell hard for a guy, believed he felt the same way and ended up discarded without any good reason. She changes lyrics to a song, she signs over his face on a mag or whatever. Demi is angry and hurt.
1) Demi plainly said that she didn’t know they were having problems.
2) Joe obviously was happy with Demi because he was constantly touching the girl in public and when he thought he wasn’t being taped. He spent lots of time with her.He was positively GLOWING, looking handsome when they were attending some event in public.
3) Demi was his best friend first so if he found out after they started dating 2 months that he didn’t feel that romantic love for her, only friendship love what the heck was all these years of him flirting with the girl for? Practice.
We don’t know what happened between Joe, Demi or events around them that cause the breakup but NO ONE can convince me that Joe didn’t love Demi in a romantic way. The boy can’t act that well.
People can still make Jemi videos but it is up to Joe and Demi to figure out if they still want to make it a go and when. Or if it is totally over. Only them.
Jemi videos is just appreciation for what can be and what we see between them. It is not a gun held to their heads.
We are very lucky that Demi shares so much of her feelings with us. Joe is a closed book. I don’t believe that is because he doesn’t have the same feelings for Demi, I think it is because he is a guy.
I have been trying to understand the reasons for the break-up – given that they were both so clearly happy together, here are my thoughts.
Joe took Demi to church with him, so it is pretty clear that he takes his faith seriously. This being the case he will want to do like Kevin and save himself for marriage.
If you go back to the time of the break up, you’ll recall that Demi had in interviews moved on from saying that they were having fun to saying it was her first serious relationship. Demi is entirely blameless as she was just being honest about her feelings.
There was also a lot of hate on Demi at that time and reports (however crazy)going around that Joe wanted Demi to move in with him and that they plan to share hotel rooms on tour.
Let us also remember that however mature she can sometimes appear, Demi is only 17, still underage in the USA, and JB will be very sensitive to any accusations that they behave anything less than appropriately to underage girls. I am sure the video of Joe and Demi on the beach raised some eyebrows at Disney.
So, in a matter of weeks Jemi have gone from some fun dating to full-on serious relationship. Not surprising really given how close these two were as friends and how physically comfortable and flirty they have always been. Any 20 year old guy with a set of morals is at this point going to be a bit nervous, especially one who is determined to wait until marriage, when the girl involved is only 17. I don’t think the break up was inevitable, but it isn’t that surprising either.
The whole point of this comment really is that the comments that Joe doesn’t have the same feelings for Demi seem ridiculous to me. He wouldn’t risk what he already had with Demi and go public to support her if that was the case. I have to agree with Tricius that he couldn’t keep his eyes and hands off Demi when they were around each other.
I still believe Jemi have a future together and that this time apart will only make them understand better the strength of feelings they have for each other. I would not want to be the guy or girl who has to compare with Jemi in any other future relationship Demi or Joe might move on to.
I am really happy that Demi is making the best of the time apart, concentrating on her family, friends and work. I really have no idea what is going on with Joe, he gives much less away, but a chance to put everything in perspective will probably do him good and I think he has a family that will support him well.

Demi slept late yesterday after she tweeted that she’s missing Texas. She posted a depressing song. She and Joe are finally on same land. What is interesting is how she made sure to retweet Skip’s tweet (after she tweeted that she was hanging with her closest friends). She even posted a picture saying he is like her “older brother”.
She’s either trying to stop the possibility of any bad rumors occurring OR she’s assuring somone that there aren’t guys around her who want to have fun with her. She’s JUST with Skip, Chloe, Anna & some other Texas friends.
I believe, Joe is scared, confused, controlled and probably slept without food AS USUAL yesterday. The only solution to this problem is for Demi to knock on his door and face him again, so HE comes back the next day knocking on her door after he “confronted himself” *rolls eyes*

WHY was he (and Demi) giggling during RD (1st of Jan08) interview talking about how they spent molding together in Christmas? (this was few days after JB took her for NO reason to NYC for New year’s Eve) Why he decided to go to Australia for TWO weeks when he was supposed to be with his so-called GF who was spotted “enjoying” that sports match with him (holding hands) days before he left? Why right after he arrived from THAT vacation (4th May) he went to spent the night spray-painting with Demi on 6th of May at her house? Why the FIRST thing she tweeted on 10th of May (after she her twitter break) was a picture of the work they’ve done on that night? Why did she tweet a month later (28th Jun) a picture of Joe’s hand next to hers with colors and paints all over it and admitting it was his hand? Why whenever there was a FREAKING Jemi rumor surfacing around the web (and fans having a field day because of it) we see pictures of Joe and Camilla right on the NEXT day? Why was the pap one meter and half closer to Jamilla INSIDE the yoghurt shop to take picture of them standing & eating ice cream? AND WHY was Perez the FIRST and ONLY gossip site that posted that picture?!! I still don’t understand that?
I could go on and on without a stop. There is so much “hidden” that people don’t know and think they know a lot about. If Joe was deeply in love with that woman then clearly he wasn’t 9 days later!
Why did he stay with his father for another day in NYC (23rd Jun) to meet Demi, give her flowers and congratulate her on her new album? Why he was terribly obvious when people asked him if he was going to kiss Demi in CR2 in mid of August09 live chat? Why did he BLUSH THAT MUCH?! His brothers were clearly teasing him too! OH YES! Because he was “VERY” heart broken because of Camilla. The funny thing is, a week and half later he was super hyper in that Toronto concert. Guess what? He finally got to perform with Demi on that tour (last time was 14th Jun). Go watch him in those videos, you’ll see what I mean.
I am not a teenager. I am in my late twenties. I followed Joe and Demi grow in front of my eyes. I have seen their body language and I understand what it means. There is someone who did videos analyzing their body language since the days of CR till Feb09 (Go check them out if you didn not see them yet). FYI an expert (in body language) with long experience analyzed them. Joe was caught watching the 2nd of that video series. And yes! He was caught several times watching Jemi videos (mostly between Jan09 and April 09). To be specific, 7 videos. But the last time he was caught was on 17th of Jun 09 which was the day after he returned from JB’s European tour with Demi. He was emotional there to remind you. So this is what I think. The news you posted about Jemi’s break up a lot makes sense and totally fits in with their past.
Both are hurting. Joe in particular looks miserable. His weight, his eyes, his beard, his facial expression…..etc. He looks sick. I feel sorry for him, because obviously he clearly doesn’t know what he wants or what to do. Career, Demi, new relationship, music, acting, Africa,…..etc.
Anyway, thank you again for the good work. Even though the details aren’t confiemred as you said, most of it makes sense.

Ok so she signed on his face (to me, that would sound like totally the opposite of being over someone, ’cause you’re still harboring feelings for that person). She’s, like Tricus said, angry and hurt (as much as she’s trying to be her normal, happy self focused on friends, family and work).
Of course she would make a face when handed the issue, she was probably instantly reminded of the good and bad times of her meaningful but short-lived relationship. In my opinion it was an instant and unconscious reaction, and it doesn’t mean that all possibility of patching things up is lost. Seriously guys, like someone on twitter said, it’s not big deal. Stop creating more drama over a teenager’s behaviour.
Joe looks confused and disoriented, but by no means I think he didn’t love her. I do think it was very hard for him (among other things) to be this public with a girlfriend but still tried very hard ’cause he really cares about her, but he’s at a weird point in his life right now I guess. (This is totally an assumption, but he might feel somewhat threathened when he sees people like Nick and Demi and think they’re so sure of what they want as artists, and most likely will get it, whereas as much as I respect him, he still needs to prove the world he can make it alone).
I don’t know what the future holds for these two, but I do hope it includes them together, more mature, less angsty and happier.
We have to be optimistic that Demi will find the way to forgive him. I think she’ll do, I think deep down they both don’t want to lose each other as friends. It’s just really hard right now, so this temporary distance might be just what they need.

Joe does seem like he is floundering not really knowing what he wants and not really trying really hard either.
Demi and Nick seem to know what they want and I think that they actively go after it, no matter if they get rejected over and over and over again.

I think maybe Joe saying he wants to sing make it right on tour is kind of a shout out to Demi…I mean he could’ve mentioned any song but he specifically chose to name that one. And he k OSS that everyone in the world knows about the breakup. And I don’t think he was disssing Demi…he just didn’t mention her because he wasn’t asked about her. It’s probably still a sensitive topic for the both of them.

1 – i know demi has been working out with joey rubino (who is also Joe’s personal trainer…) just about everyday recently….and i know she worked out the same morning as the SWAC taping…..so maybe he has been “relaying” messages back and forth for joe and demi and trying to help them sort things out…..because when they were dating it was pretty obvious he was a jemi shipper from his tweets….so idk maybe joe said something to joey and he told demi
2 – that WAS joe’s car the other day @ demi’s house….and he showed up to talk to demi but she wasnt there so he talked to whoever was @ the house and then at the taping demi was texting back and forth with whoever talked to joe…….
3 – joe texted demi/demi texted joe
4 – they saw each other and “talked”
i really dont know what happpened but the fact that she was texting throughout the whole tapingand always had her phone in her hand, looked distracted and off seems very suspicious……..what do y’all think?

Yeah, I knew it couldn’t be that trust worthy but it still gave me something to think about because I haven’t seen him with his ring eversince he came back from London. I will throw my thoughts in here:
1) there has already been a LEGIT news mag/blog/paper or whatever that states that Ashely Greene and Joe Jonas is not dating. So who cares if a website is late with the rumor and states that Joe and Ashley was spotted in London. The last time Joe was in London with Ashley was 1 July 10 for the Twilight Eclipse premiere, that’s it. Ashley is dating Brock- Enough said there.
2) Demi seems to be on track with her career. She sounds excited and happy for it.
3) Sometimes I think that Joe feels a sense of entitlement with Demi. Like he feels that he can without a thought hurt her and she will ALWAYS be there for him and take him back. Lately I have just been thinking that.
Sure Demi is a GREAT girl,she has her issues like we all do. She is not perfect and neither is Joe. Demi needs a great guy in her life who treats her right.
Doesn’t matter if people are reading too much into Demi, Joe or their friends tweet. Doesn’t matter if we are all STILL holding out hope that they will get back together or just be friends. Nothing is ever wrong with having hope or faith otherwise nothing will ever get accomplished in this world.
All that matters is that Demi is treated RIGHT. If it is not by Joe then so be it.

I was just thinking what great break up Jemi have had (by the way this isn’t a hate post) –
Demi, who likes to share her thoughts with us a lot, has said nothing bad about Joe, not complained about him or acted the victim, but has focussed on her fans, her career and her health. (and yes I know she changed some song lyrics early on, but I don’t think it was meant to be nasty). She has shown real maturity and respect.
Joe, who is a lot less public about his feelings, has taken time away to do do charity work, support his brother and work on his music. His only public statements have made particular mention of how important his friendship with Demi is to him.
Obviously they need to reconnect before tour and I honestly believe they are both committed to remaking their friendship, because I bet that they have missed each other enormously.
Will they try again on the romance front? They have lots of time to work that out, but in the meantime, I think we all need to have patience. We will see what happens. I don’t think we are deluded in believing that the Chemistry between Joe and Demi is undeniable and time will tell if we are right or not. All that matters is that we support them, however and whenever it works itself out.

for any jemi fans who are losing hope, look at Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony 🙂 they dated for a few months, broke up and remanded friends, as time went by they reunited and then got married, had kids and now are happily in love.
i was just listening to the song “our kind of love” by lady antebellum…….it TOTALLY describes jemi when they were dating and in love……i mean its perfect…..i’m sure demi’s heard the song because she LOVES lady antebellum and i wonder if she saw the connection……here are the lyrics

I am a HUGE jemi fan but I’ve gone too long without some jemi news…..I need something NOW or I’m gonna start flipping out no joke
i feel the same way! but one thing helps me get through it all – i create jemi scenes in my head! its actually really fun because its almost like you’re directing a mini movie and anything can happen! i try to make mine as realistic as possible so i can still hope that someday it could come true 🙂 it also helps me focus on all the good times they had and all the good times that they will have!

Heyy, i speak arabic too and i saw the advert u r talking about on the mbc channel. by the way, the show which Hend Sabry stars in is called “Awza Atgawez” in which she is a thirty-something girl looking for the perfect man to marry. mbc do one advert for both “Awza Atgawez” and Ghada AbdelRaziq’s show which is called “Azwaj el Hajja Zahra” which is about the lady who marries 5 times. loool
by the way, there is some similarties in the way hind and demi look but they r still very different.
