Hello Jemi lovers! This is going to be a quick post; this boring post will be edited later. But it should be updated later because I really don’t know how to break it down! So here’s some short notes!:
-Joe turned 21 on August 15. Demi turned 18 on August 20. Joe and Nick attended Demi’s pre-birthday bash on August 19. The nights of August 25 and 27 were giggly cute. Demi tweeted Garbo and Jack. Demi fav’d a Jemi tweet. Joe on a soundcheck: “Friends of Demi are friends of mine. We share everything.” August 28, The JoBros and Demi attended Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day. August 31, Nick said “Joe you were a cute kid. What happened?” September 1, Joe asked Demi for a hug eventhough an unwanted thing/beard/whatever was there. Then yesterday, September 2, Demi RT’d a tweet with on her and Joe’s name; Joe RT’d @whatislove_jemi. Omg? Omg, indeed. ❤ I know I’m missing more details, they’re in my head!
I’m assuming you all know what I mean by an unwanted thing/beard/whatever, right? Okay. I just imagine that Demi’s tour buddies, dancers, and basically most of the people on tour would roll their eyes and sigh whenever they find out that beard thing is there. You know like Bshorty&the dance crew, Alyson Stoner, and Anna Marie De Tagle. Even Mdot and Jman! Omg, hairflip. High five?! ❤
Will we, Jemi lovers, be riding on a bumpy ride? Hmmm, it’s been bumpy lately. Too bumpy, I’m kinda getting hurt. But I’m still alive and riding it! I have much to say but not right now, sorry!

I understand that we all love Jemi, and that we want them to be together, but seriously, it’s not right to hate on Ashley! When Joe and Demi were together, a lot of people were hating on Demi, and I remember that we were the ones who said “it’s so pathetic to hate on Demi, they don’t have a right to judge Joe’s choice of his girlfriend”, and when people said that Demi was being clingy, we also said that they are just immature, we always said that it’s pointless to hate on Demi for dating Joe, but right now, we are the ones who are hating on Ashley.
Calling her an unwanted thing or beard is really rude, yes she is following him on his tour, but if Demi would have the time, and her and Joe were together and Joe were on a tour, she would try to see him as much as she can, too!
Ashley isn’t a bad person, yes, she had many boyfriends in her past, but that doesn’t exactly make her a bad person. If you read interviews, or watch interviews of her, you’ll see that she is a sweet girl.
Of course I don’t like seeing Joe and Ashley, but you can’t blame Ashley for what has happened between Joe and Demi. A relationship involves two people, so why is everyone hating on the girls, all the time?
Yes, Demi and Joe seemed perfect, but they aren’t a couple anymore, at least for now, and Joe is dating someone else now, and it sucks.
But just think about how Ashley must feel, she is getting the hate of millions of girs right now, and she gets so many angry tweets from fans, saying how Jemi was perfect and Joe would dump her soon and that she is a maneater and stuff like that.
People even say that she isn’t pretty at all, and all that stuff. Ashley is human, so I do think that comments like that bother her at least a bit!
In the end we can’t blame her for anything, because she is just a girl who has a crush on a boy, that is single, and seems to have a crush on her too.
Let’s say you meet this amazing boy, and you have a big crush on him, and you find out that he recently broke up with his girlfriend, who is also his best friend, and then you find out that he likes you too, and he asks you out…would you say “no” because of a girl you don’t even know personally? I know I wouldn’t.

You have many good points there. Obviously, the people who hated on Demi when she dated Joe weren’t Demi/Jemi fans. I’m a fan of Demi and Joe, Jemi, and the Jonas Brothers and I assume most of us are. I know we don’t share the same opinions but I know that we all have something in common which is the subject of Jemi.
Seriously, I’m a fan of both. I don’t like taking sides but Joe’s actions/choices has been bothering me a lot lately. I mean after 2-3 months, Joe suddenly has a new “girl?” And he’s perusing it during the tour? A tour with Demi? Did he even consider Demi’s feelings? I mean I know Joe wouldn’t do this because it’s not him. And I’m pretty sure Asheww knew who was Joe’s ex-gf was.
This is how I see:
You have this best friend right? Her name is Demi. Then you have this acquaintance. Her name is Asheww. Then Joe decided to have a “break” or a break with Demi. Then two months later, I see Joe with Asheww? I’ll be like: “THIS B*TCH.”
I might not know what’s going on but all I know I’m getting annoyed.
I hope I explained myself well enough. If not, it’s okay. I still love you because you love Jemi. ❤

I didn’t mean to be rude, I love this side, and I love all of you guys, I was just saying that I’m tired of all this hate against Joe’s girlfriends from people in general…
And to be honest, I’m also annoyed at the fact that she’s constantly around Joe, but I’ve seen Ashley doing interviews from way back when she was at the beginning of her career, so I’m not really a fan, I just like her as an actress, and even though I find it annoying that she is with Joe now, I can’t hate her for doing that, simply because it doesn’t feel right.
My complains were mainly that people go as far as being really really rude, I saw so many horrible comments on Ashley lately, not on this site, but in general, and I just thought: What’s wrong with everyone? We knew that Joe would end up dating someone soon, and to be honest, it could have been worse. Ashley is very famous, but she isn’t doing drugs, she isn’t one of those stars who go to party after party, all the time, there are no shocking scandals, so I’m glad about that 😛
When I hear news about Jashley, I am fairly relaxed, because I know that in the end, Joe will realize what he feels for Demi. It’s been getting more and more obvious lately, that they seem to be really close again.
I am so GLAD that Joe is dating another girl now, because it seemed like he felt like he can’t settle down just yet, that he can’t have something so serious yet, maybe a little romance is just what he needs to figure out what he really wants and needs.
So I really didn’t want to offend anyone, I was just frustrated about how Joe’s girls always get hated…especially if it’s a fan girl that is in love with him and can’t see him with someone else!
BTW: I find it interesting that Joe finally shows is chemistry with Demi in front of Ashley, that actually makes me smile 🙂

I agree, just because she is with JOE does not mean we hate on her. Honestly if you notice her, she really doesn’t seem like she gets involved with jemi or whatever. I mean she is there to support her man and that cool. Joe likes her and she likes him. We should support them even if we want jemi. This can’t be always jemi this jemi that, we have to balance things out and be fair. I also agree on ashley being sweet. I think she’s a good person so yeah.
why haven’t the pic of the moment or the animation of the moment been replaced by pictures of the Smitchie kiss or by pictures from the tour?! :p ^^ and I agree with you calmdownlove 🙂
I don’t think there is any good reason for anyone to post hate to Ashley. I am quite sure Demi would not want anyone to be a hater on her behalf.
As Ashley has gone off to Paris to finish her movie and we wait for the video footage of the Jemi moments from this afternoon’s concert and Camp Rock 2 we should focus on the positive things about being Jemi fans, not get bitter, hate or bring each other down.

I agree with you summer but we can’t blame this on jashley mostly Joe or Ashley. I mean I totally was shocked too but Demi is so strong and I know she fell for Joe but Joe is 21 and usually people around that age want to date others around their age. I mean if you see past chemistry you can tell Joe is in love with Demi too. He did start to date fast and I know that just punches Demi in the chest but maybe he doesn’t know. omg i just watched camp rock 2 since i live on the east coast and it was awesome and amazing!!!!! my favorite part was the whole thing especially the smitchie/jemi kiss<3 they deserve to have a nominee for this movie, BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR<3

Don’t hate on Ashley.. first of all don’t hate on anyone. Yes I do know that Jemi is made for eachother and that it can be a annoying to see Joe or even Demi with someone else, but at the end of the day it’s their lives. It’s their decisions and we as fans can only support them in anyway and hope that may be tommorow something will change and maybe we will have Jemi back or may be not. All we have to do, is continue to support them, love them and believe in them that they are going to do the right thing.
Yea guys….let’s support them in every way that we can, but there comes a certain point where u have to except the fact that it’s not US making the decision, it’s THEM. I agree with jemistry. although I also hear out lovebirds point. But Joe, even before this whole thing is really pissing me off. From our side it almost seem like he just doesn’t care about these girls feelings, especially Demi. Demi seems all cool and collected about it, but she’s only a women, who has draining emotions, especially when it’s clear that she was probably in love with this guys who is her best friend. I’m glad their going back to being playful with one another, it makes me happy and I love them, both individually. I want both to be as happy as I can be, but the girls Joe finds, I always get this wrong vibe. I don’t ‘persay’ hate Ashley. I think she’s a great actress, but something about her, I ain’t feelin’. To me, this seems like an ‘in your face’ move. Joe may not know it, but their is probably some little thing going on between Demi and Ashley.
Jemi is forever, in my opinion. I think when they went out, they knew exactly that they were both the one, and they were scared and broke it off. Demi may say she won’t re-date anyone after their over, I believe that, not this year, but in time they’ll find each other lost in their eyes again. 🙂

I think Demi has feelings for Joe, but she accepts that things don’t work out, at least for now.
Even tho she surely says a lot of things because she simply has no other choice (Oh yes, they’re obviously sooo back to being best friends *cough*) I think she was serious when she said Joe has no bad intentions.
Yeah, he’s simply immature, always rushing into things without knowing what he wants. I think he’s really trying to be friends with Demi, but it’s pretty difficult for her. Also I think he’s attracted to her in that way he’s always been and it confuses him.

Well at least CR2 almost doubled their viewership more than CR. Well that was for 1 night. I don’t know what the end number will be after the rest of the world sees it.
CR2 did great especialy since the last one was like 2 years ago.
HSM did good because they were back to back, every year. The only HSM that was bad was number 3. Soooo boring and bad. The music and dancing was very cheesy.
I dont get some of jemi fans dont get me wrong I loved jemi and all and I think they are adorable together but dont you want to be happy for them as persons first ?people think, if Joe was still in love with demi he would have never break up with her in the first place. When I see people hating on Ashley or Travis because they have something with them is beyond me…What in the world is happening? Jemi tried and it failed. Nobody said there is no chance for them to be back one day. Everything is possible but for now they are OVER and happy at least Joe is. I dont really see how you want them to be in a relationship if they dont feel it? It is like sometimes I wonder do you want their good or your own????????

I don’t hate Ash or Joe. I just don’t like some of the things that Joe has done in regards to Demi.
Ash is just a girl who is trying to keep her new guy interested in HER and only her.
Anyway I just wish that Demi wasn’t on this tour with Joe. It would have been better all around if Joe and Demi hadn’t seen or worked with each other for at least 1 year. That way they can both move on in private and see if what they really had was worth it and if they want to try again

Yes I agree with tricus, I mean having the tour has been a blast but honestly I think it wouldve done better for demi if she hadn’t gone. She needed a break from joe, they both needed to stay separate for awhile……then this whole jashley thing wouldn’t be bothering me AS much as it is now, cuz I could at least say that demi didn’t have to watch the whole thing take place in front of her eyes….it hurt her SO much even though she doesn’t show it, and that’s what bothers me the most. If they ever wanna try again in the future….this isn’t the way to go. Forgivness comes easily, but the scars will always be there….and for demi the scars are pretty deep….

travis keeps replying on twitter to demi…….quite often…..but she hardly ever responds….i dont know whats going on between them but it seems to me like he’s more into her than she is to him…….

Travis IS more into Demi than she is into him.
Demi seems to just think of Travis as a close friend and someone to kind of lightly flirt with.
Travis obviously have had feelings for Demi for awhile and is now showing them full force.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was why his long time GF broke up with him.
Travis is just trying to date Demi before she goes back to LA and meet soemone else.
He is nice, supportive, funny and down to earth but just a little too old for Demi. If Demi was 20 he would be fine but she JUST turned 18 and HE is 25.

I don’t know what to think of both those things.
Jemi friendship is on a very rocky road, never mind any future romantic relationship.
I don’t even think that Demi and Joe are evn friends right now.
Once you start on that slippery slope it is hard to put a brake on things and try to go back.
It would have to take major changes in one or both people.
Demi is probably trying to hint that she is tired of the stress or heartache of her feelings for Joe,she is giving up or moving on. I don’t know. Can’t read minds.
I just hope that by Joe’s tweet he is seriously thinking about the choices he has made in the last few months and if it was worth it.
If it was to him, then good for him, as long as he can live with the consequences and continue forward.
I had such high hopes for this tour. Not only would Demi be with JB and have tons of fun on tour BUT she will be with the CR2 people too. Lots of laughs, pics, videos of everyone getting along and having a blast.
Also Joe and Demi would work out their relationship issues and if there was no resolve then they could move on to other people with a stress free heart after tour.
But unfortunately nothing has worked out.
Now there is people getting sick, people getting injured, cancelled live chat, awkwardness on tour. Scared to think what will happen on their overseas tour.

My other point is this: Papa J is one of her managers. He couldn’t get on twitter to dispel all the hate being thrown at Demi? He or one of the JB could have said “No we decided on a M&G after we sent Demi home.” or whatever the reason was. But no they are all concerned about just JB and their clean image.
Even if Papa J isnt one of Demi’s managers anymore, she is part of the tour. He is there to manage the image and conduct of the people on tour too. He is one of the front men. THAT is his job to take care of the people on tour not just his sons.

I hate the way rumours are spread by twitter. Joe and Demi fighting? Seriously? It is very noticeable that there is absolutely no decent evidence of Joe and Demi even being near each other except where work or publicity requires it since the start of tour.
There are two possible reasons for this 1. They are having nothing to do with each other, because it’s easier for them both or 2. everyone on the tour knows that it is important for them to rebuild their friendship out of the public eye, so no-one ever tweets when they are together off-stage and they are careful not to be seen or photographed together (lets face it how crazy would people go if there was a photo of them even talking over coffee).
Personally I think it is a bit of both. I don’t believe it is actually possible for them to completely avoid each other when they are on tour with so many mutual friends, sharing catering facilities, backstage areas etc., but I can see why they would schedule their free time away from each other when their break-up is relatively recent and the happiness of the rest of tour crew would be affected by any negativity between them.
What I am trying to say is, no-one who would be close enough to know for sure if Joe and Demi were fighting would make that information public. It’s just people reading tweets and making assumptions about what they mean, they actually have no idea.

I seriously don’t think that Joe is in love with Ashley. Sorry but the guy barely showed any closeness, goofy smile (even with Camilla he had a goofy big smile), any chemistry or any lust/hots for the girl.

Sure they probably have fun together, make out, kiss etc.. but anything deep, I dont’ think so.

Well guys this is my final comment of the weekend cuz school starts tomorrow which means I won’t be back for awhile…..just wanted to point out a few things….
First off, I was watching the new episode of jonas today and does anyone else think that the relationship between joe and stella totally reflects jemi??? I do!!! The whole time I wuz like omggg this is totally describing jemi, with the whole friendship thing and all the barriers between them and stuff. Especially the part where joe was talking about Stella and he wuz like ” She understands me. She makes me laugh….” I was like he’s totally describing demi!!!
Second, does anyone know where all this rumors started??? I hear some ppl saying that one of the jemi fans on twitted started it, but i’m not sure. Oh and the tour has been kinda quiet these days, anyone know what’s been going on lately??? I know that things aren’t so hot between joe and demi, but nobody has posted any videos I’d anything in a while.
Last thing I wanted to say was I noticed that the site has been slow lately. We’ve been getting less comments and stuff, actually the comment above is also mine, but I posted that like 3 hours ago….I understand that ppl are busy and stuff and I’m ok with that as long as this has nothing to do with jemi and things being slow these days. I think most of us are still here. We are just waiting patiently for something that is worth commenting on without raising hopes. For instance this tweet – During Dont Forget Demi said: “please don’t REGRET us” and “our love WAS like a song!”. There isn’t any video to back it up yet, but if it’s true, I think it implies forgiveness and the hope of friendship.
look this rumor of jemi kissing and jashley over can be just rumors. Don’t believe everything you read, hear, or see. Now of course we don’t know if it’s a lie too but we all should not be too excited about this because first, that’s a little weird to be happy for break ups and sec. do you honestly think demi is going to kiss Joe after or during dating ashley? Anything is possible but we have to be realistic too. I’m a big jemi fan, don’t hate me for what I’m saying but to be happy about a breakup is wrong because we are not involved, Joe, Ashely and demo have their reasons in dating or breaking up, and plus I think Joe dating these girls is probably him trying to study them and which one he is more comfortable with. So like he is doing what most people say, “experiencing, or trying new things” to maybe either get to know himself more and/or to know which/how girl(s) to date to match him. So Ashley, Demi, Camilla, Taylor are all girls he has/had chemistry with. Like Demi said he has good intentions and I do believe that so we need to give this whole jashley thing a break.. It’s a relationship. Now if someone is going to reply to me, I know you guys don’t care about the relationship but you care about how Demi feels and what she’s been through. I agree and I feel the pain too but this will only make her stronger and have a better friendship with Joe and better resltionship with whoever. On the one hand it is good that the JB and Demi live chats are seperate baceause they are seperate music artists in their own right.

Hey everyone. Happy Sunday. Tonight is the last night of the US tour and it has certainly been a rollercoaster ride for Jemi fans.
We have had moments of magic (feather boa night) and moments of sadness (Joe and Demi ignoring each other on stage). What has been conspicuously missing all tour is any sign of Joe and Demi spending time rebuilding their friendship off-stage and I can’t quite bring myself to believe that they haven’t tried to do this (so I’m going to assume that they have kept this on the real down low).
Joe has been hanging out with Ashley Greene and Demi with Travis Clarke and while neither has admitted dating, they have not denied it either and both have reinforced the idea that something is going on (Travis tweeting about/to Demi and Ash tweeting about/with some of Joe’s closest friends). I like both Ashley and Travis, they seem nice, funny and both are older and more experienced in relationships than Joe and Demi – perhaps hanging out with them will be good for Joe and Demi – it’s just it doesn’t seem right somehow.
After tonight there is a short break before the South American arm of the tour. I am hopeful that the love of the fans and the obvious love for that part of the world that Joe and Demi have will help them to rebuild their friendship (not least so that Nick cheers up, poor guy).
Anyway being a JEMI fan for me is all about supporting Joe and Demi and not giving up on them. So however the tour ends tonight (and I have a strange feeling it will be really interesting) I will still be back here.

I don’t think Demi is dating Rob although I do think he might like her. I also sorta believe Zack Taylor on the breakup thing cause we all saw that coming. but I really doubt JEMI will happen right away…Demi has gone thru too much with Joe to just run back to him like that. I think he needs to fight for her and really prove he deserves her if he wants her back. Which I am sure he does. He is not happy with Ashley anymore that is why they keep arguing. Zac Taylor is really good at seeing a few vague tweets and turning them into a vaguely credible bit of gossip. I am not yet convinced Jashley is over and I’ll explain why..
For some time I have been trying to understand why Joe would break up with Demi and then head very quickly into a fairly obvious relationship with Ashley. I have come to the conclusion that (as unlikely as it seems) this is Joe’s attempt at “growing up”.
This year he has been focussing more on his life outside the Jonas Brothers (as have Nick and Kevin). He has his own place where he lives with two of his closest male friends. Both are older than he is and both are in long term relationships with girls Joe is close to. As much as Demi is adorable and mature for her age, she is not going to ditch her friends and drop into the “Roomies” world easily (& I suspect Jack and Garbo both still see her as the teenager they first toured with).
So then along comes Ashley, very pretty, nice, funny and more experienced. She (& her friends) fit in really well with the Roomies and their girlfriends because she is a similar age and has similar likes and interests. Bingo – Joe is finally on an equal footing with his guy friends (if not in the lead!).
Only thing is..Joe is still Joe. He may kid himself for a while that things are great with Ashley, but he has alienated Demi (which I think he seriously regrets – see some of the posed photos of them during tour he looks really confused & uncomfortable – he can’t hide it like Demi can). I also think he has lost some of his family’s respect over how he has treated her (Nick & him are obviously not as close anymore). I am sure he feels this.
As much as Joe may want to keep it fun, at some point Joe is going to have to decide if his relationship with Ashley is going to work out in the long term and I think the answer is going to be no (well I’m a Jemi fan after all!). As things go this will be pretty bad for Joe as he (very probably) won’t have Demi to fall back on this time and Ashley is clearly close to his Roomie’s girlfriends right now. It may take him forever to realise that dating someone who fits in with your friends, makes you feel more mature, while not being truly yourself is not the best idea – & pluck up the courage to end it and I suspect she’ll see it coming and drop him first.
That’s why I don’t think Jashley is over yet. It will be over when Ashley decides it is.
Wow! I hear you on this one! I think you got it right on! Now they are following each other. I assume it is to show us that the break up rumors are false and they are closer than ever. but yeah she does seem to have the reigns on this relationship. And he has changed being with her into someone that he clearly is not. I remember when he was with Demi we saw the usual funny and goofy Joe. After the break up that all changed. The whole roomies may also be why Demi outed Garbo and Jack as trying to change people meaning Joe and why Garbo unfollowed her. Your theory would also explain why Nick has been so close with Demi and so sweet and a little more distant from Joe. If all is true which most likely it is…that is the most MESSED UP thing Joe could do. And yeah, Ashley will decide it is over, and Joe will feel the pain of not having his ‘best friend’ there to fall back to. WOW What a mess!
I think Joe is really good at creating messes (it is actually one of the things that I like about him – how odd is that). So sad that people get hurt in the process.. especially when it is Demi.

After hearing about the erotic store thing, I more believe ZT. He said Joe did not like not having any control over Ashley and this proves big time he doesn’t. She is doing her own thing and she does not care who sees her. She knows Joe and his bros are known to have a clean rep but she is not gonna let that stop her from doing what she wants. And maybe that is what causing her and Joe to have some problems? but Joe is gonna suck it up because he is fitting in with her as his GF. I feel the need to defend Ashley a little bit. She seems a genuinely nice person and clearly plenty of Joe’s friends like her. Joe is by all accounts very nice to his girlfriends and I see no reason why Ashley shouldn’t want to (& have the right to) date a nice, attractive guy like Joe if that’s what he wants.
I just don’t think they have a long term future together and I think Joe will live to regret the way he treated Demi in all this.
i think if joe and ashley do breakup, that joe should just stay single for awhile, yeah he’s 21 and he wants to find the right one but i think he should stay single then go for demi again<3
I am the only jemi fan who like realize maybe jemi wasnt suppose to be? I understand what Joe meant. He loved Demi yes he did and he was kinda attracted to her but the spark, that passionate relationship (we all looking for)was just not there. I think being her friend for so long ruined that passionate part. They were too comfortable…Yes sometimes it could be great to be with your bestfriend but for a young guy like Joe. No its not…And I see that thing with ashley that was missing with Demi. Joe seems smitten with girls like Ashley or Camilla types, classy,more mature and independant woman. And his friend seems to love her. We just have to wish him best and wish the same for demi and remember all the good jemi time we had but now it is time to move on. Cause they did…
I guess we’ve all had that thought, but for some of us Jemi just isn’t forgotten that easily. We saw something special and we don’t want to give up on it. That’s why we’re still here, still hoping.

I think Ashley doing what she wants, going to a lingerie store( if she really was there) is exactly what makes JOe love her. She makes him chase after her,other than Demi who loved him a lot and stayed by his side 24/7. Ashley’s indepentant and that’s what JOe’s after.
Just a thought, could be completely wrong, but it seems like this. Camilla and Ashley are very likely after all. Older, more mature and a lot of guys are after them.

Watching this new generation of entertainers is like watching an episode of “Saved By The Bell” everyone seems to have dated each other and their exes. I only see Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato lasting at most four more months. I don’t see him being around for her 18th birthday or his 21st. I don’t get the feeling that either Joe or Demi want to settle down. This relationship seems to me to just exist for publicity and career advancement. I would rather see Joe with a non-famous girl and Demi with another famous young man, perhaps Taylor Lautner (lol). By the way Demi should do a re-make of a famous 80’s song, her career would flourish if she does that. And I see Joe being more of a producer in the music studio than singer. I think Joe is a cheater too so girls watch out.

I think Joe doesn’t even know what he wants, but you’re right. He thinks that he wants to be friends with her.
Though I don’t think that it’s working out very well for him, and I don’t blame Demi for losing respect for him, because bringing Ashley to the concerts and stuff, even though he knew how Demi felt for him was just selfish and if my ex-bf AND best friend would do that, I would lose respect for him too.
For now it seems like Demi tries to stay away from him, because she wants and needs to fully move on, and I think that she has a little crush on Rob Kardashian because she seems to hang out with him much lately.
And I agree, he should have made up his mind before getting into a relationship with a girl that is his best friend and has very strong feelings for him.
From what I have seen of Demi lately, her change of music and her change of clothes I think that she tries to distance herself from Joe and JB in general, she is focussing on her career and from the interviews Ive seen lately it seems like she wants to get away from the disney image a little bit, doing more mature stuff…and if she always stays with JB, people won’t fully respect her as a musician and actress.
I think Demi has a great future in front of her, she is getting more and more known lately and I think her new album will be totally different and will stay in the charts for a long time.
As for Joe, we never know what he will do next, but I guess he’ll stay with Ashley a little bit longer, working on his acting career, because let’s face it: being with Ashley brought him more attention than ever…which seems to fit perfectly for his “solo-album” that is coming out in the near future.
But still, I can’t see a future as a serious actor for Joe, because he will always be known as a Jonas Brother, and to be honest he doesn’t really have the acting skills to do more mature roles.
He can sing, and I think he should keep on working with that.
But I also think that his “rep for breaking hearts” will be stronger than ever.
THIS. I think Joe’s really into acting, but his skills don’t really convince me yet :S Demi, on the other hand, has been really improving these years, but doesn’t feel the passion for acting the way she does with music.
I guess someday they might become good friends again but only time and circumstances can reveal if we’re ever gonna see them being giving it another shot when it comes to a romantic relationship.
For now, I think is a good thing that she tries to distance herself a little from JB and try to be a star of her own because she’s talented enough and she deserves it 🙂

There is no doubt in my mind that Demi’s career will only get better and she will continue to learn and grow from her experiences.
Joe has to decide what he wants for more than a few minutes. He has a really low boredom threshold. When he is acting he wants to be on tour, when he is on tour he wants to be acting. When he is with a girl he goes headlong for the relationship at a rocket pace and then panics when he suddenly realises how deep he is in. This is exactly why none of his friends or family got him the dog he wanted for his birthday!
On reflection, if there is any chance of Jemi reconnecting, then it is going to need Joe to understand himself better and grow as a person. Maybe some more life experience will help that.

Jashley is fun and PR. I’m not saying the relationship is fake, I’m saying it’s helping Joe to act. He took his own decisions: he chose a path. I don’t think it’s the good one: yeah, he will act more on some TV shows, etc… but he won’t be doing it because of his acting talent.Joe will end up being the heartbreaker and that’s all. Let’s face it: he isn’t really a good actor…
Demi is taking things slow and reaching little by little what she wants. She is doing things well and, in general, when you do things well you end up getting where you want to get. Demi choose a way more complicated and long than Joe but in the end it will be more solid.
I think Joe’s attitude all along has helped Demi to really get her own way and separate herself from JB.
I do think Joe knows what he wants right now but he is taking the quick ways and that’s not really sure. He is sacrificing important things and he doesn’t realize that. He has to grow up a lot. I think Demi was right:he has good intentions. Joe needs to learn that having good intentions is enough for little kids but not later.
I don’t know what will happen with Jemi. For now they are both taking their separate ways and I think that in the end that’s something good for Demi. We’ll see what happens in a time when they both will be more mature.
I hope Joe isn’t wrong with his decisions but I think he is… I wish him good luck. I think that in the end he needs it more than Demi because she knows better what she wants and what it takes to have it.

And today Ashley reached the “never been happier” stage (6 months since Demi was here – man time flies). Assuming her tweet is about her weekend with Joe, she certainly seems to have given up on the alleged “playing hard to get”.
If there is a Joe Jonas dating graph somewhere (& if there isn’t someone should make one) then we are rapidly reaching the point where Joe wakes up and realises that his considerable charms have done their work and he now has the devotion of the object of his affections and needs to work out what he wants next … at which point history tells us his interest in the relationship drops off.
Sort of hope for Joe’s sake that he isn’t that predictable.

Rigt now I don’t even want Jemi together. Joe is… Joe won’t wake up until his late thirties. I love the “Joe’s graphic” comment: some more weeks of absolut happiness then his feelings will misteriously change… As for Demi: she will be the best of all of them in some years because she is truly working super hard and is really talented.
You know what, since we’re being honest…I’ve got a confession to make (LOL that just sounded too Foo Fighters-ish for me). When I read the first few comments in OU on the ryan seacrest interview with jemi post (i know….they are full of hate) one of them definitely caught my attention.
An anon was refering to Joe’s statement ‘we always kinda knew it would happen one day but we didn’t know when it was the right time’, and said something along these lines: ‘You’re right, but this ISN’T the right time’ For him/her jemi had happened sooner than expected, at least to turn into a succesful relationship. This person was totally seeing that the friendship was going to be ruined. I gotta admit that it caught my attention because I sorta felt the same way, but I was happy that jemi happened at all so I brushed it off.
Now when I look back, I can finally see why I felt that way. Both of them have a lot of growing up to do. I’m not sure about Joe’s career future outside JB/teen idol stuff. Whereas I’ve always seen Demi as the Natalie Portman of music (slowly, but safely reaching stardom and recognition for her hard work). And I was always worried her hanging out with JB/Jonas Group too much would only make it slower and harder. So that’s a positive thing about the break up. Now she can leave Jonas Group once she releases her third album and never look back (the next album she does, she has to be aiming leaving Hollywood Records for good)
I still would like jemi together one day, but IF they both grow up enough to deal with each other.
Let’s face it, right now Joe can’t really commit (at least not with a girl you know it’s gonna be the shit one day, but there’s no prob for him when it comes to a B List actress) and Demi shouldn’t either, they are very young (although I insist dating Rob K would be good PR for her).

I think that for now I just hope that they will be able to forget whatever stands between them, so that one day they can start to rebuild their friendship, because Joe really was one of Demi’s closest friends, and since I watched all the behind the scenes material from Camp Rock 1 today, I remembered how much fun they were, and how Joe used to call Demi his guardian angel and all the times they made each other love, and it makes me sad.
I really hope that one day they will be able to be friends again, because they sure belong to eachother in a way, no matter if it’s romantically or just friendly.
I think a past like theirs can’t be forgotten that easily, they have gone through a lot together, but on the other hand we saw what happened to Selena and Demi, they were best friends for so many years and then all of a sudden their friendship was dead because of a fight.

What a wonderful comment lovebirds!!! I’m with u all the way on that one….I don’t even care about the romance anymore, I just want them to rebuild the friendship they had before. Sure it won’t be easy, joe hurt demi, he left bad wounds for her to suffer from, and those scars will always be there for her. But those 2 were more than just boyfriend and girlfriend….they completed eachother, not romantically, but in a way that’s too hard to explain….they may be exes, and they may have hurt eachother in ways that they didn’t mean to….but in the end joe and demi NEED eachother, no matter what role they play in eachother’s life….and that, my friend, is why I believe in jemi….

Well…as usual here’s my last comment of the weekend since school starts tomorrow. Today I went and looked up some old jemi videos and when they were still dating. It would be a lie if I said I didn’t cry…. 😦 Hopefully we’ll get a new post this week, so things will liven up around here a little bit….. There is a rumor going around that Joe asked Ashley’s family because he wants to propose. A celebrity blogger (not Zack Taylor) wrote that he met them at that bar that they were spotted in, and that Joe was spending some time with Ashley’s family and that they were discussing marriage.
I don’t really believe that, they have been together for what, 3 months?
IT’s way too early for a proposal, but several people said that they did look really in love, so I guess it’s time for us to move on and be happy for him, and let’s just hope that whatever decision he makes, he will be happy with it, and that someday Demi and Joe will be able to forget the hurt and the fight and just start being friends again
I agree that it is too early for a proposal. I am fairly convinced Joe and Ashley are very into each other right now, but they are not going to rush into marriage. They don’t need to.
I am hopeful that now Joe and Ashley are settled into their relationship a bit, Joe will put more time and effort into rebuilding his friendship with Demi. It is seriously too good a friendship for him to lose.
I realised today it would actually make me a lot more comfortable with Jashley if Demi and Ashley at least followed each other on twitter, but I guess it will take a lot of time and effort from Joe to make that happen.

i have a bad feeling that even if the marriage rumors aren’t true, joe is thinking about proposing soon….personally i think its way to early for them to get engaged! and this whole thing has made me lose a ton of respect for joe…its almost like “how could he do this to demi? is he that oblivious?” but i hope he makes the right decision and that they can rebuild there friendship outside of a romance tho i think that is near impossible becuz demi is prob still hurt and in love….but i just gotta let go and let what needs to happen happen…. ❤

guys! we’ve been jemi fans for a long time, we waited 3 years for them to be a couple and im sure we can wait as long as we can for them two to get back together. i don’t know if those rumors about jashley getting married are true or not but maybe they arent and joe can fix his friendship with demi and somewhere down the line they could get back together because remember the south american tour is soon and ashley’s gonna be filming breaking dawn soon, so never give up!

I think the reason the relationship of two celebrities made me so sick is that I never really believed in love (might be because of my family and bla bla). Then there was Jemi and I was so amazed by their Jemistry, it kinda made me fall in love myself and start believing in love. i know EXACTLY what you mean! i’m still young and have never been in a relationship so maybe i fell in love with the idea of being in love! and i saw what an amazing friendship they had and then wanted it to turn into something more mayb cuz thats what i want for myself. i am also a people watcher kinda person and very into psychology and human behavior so i find all of this very interesting.

I’m not a JB fan. I’ve never listened to their music and I saw camp rock because my little cousin forced me to. When I saw the film the jemistry hit me so hard. There are some couples you see and say: oh my god, they are so made for each other. That’s what happened to me with those two: there was something so strong between them.
Maybe we were wrong… maybe love and relationships are not the same thing. Maybe we were right and all of this just proves that love isn’t always enough, there are much more things.
What hurt me the most about the Jemi break up was the afterwards: he has treated her like any of her exes, I didn’t expect that behaviour towards his best friend.
Sometimes I say to myself I was wrong and Joe never felt that for Demi then I remembered what I saw and get convinced it was true.

I have been in love and repeatedly fall in love again with the same guy (who luckily for me I married a long time ago) so I guess I know a bit about it.
I wasn’t a Jonas fan, but like noah33 saw Camp Rock and couldn’t get over the connection between Joe and Demi. I was not surprised to learn there were many others who saw it too and I started to take an interest in them and found I rather liked them both as people.
I was a little surprised when Jemi started dating so young and more surprised when they broke up and most surprised by how I and many other people here felt so emotionally affected by it all. It has been a voyage of discovery trying to understand why and learning to take a step back from it all.
I can honestly say that I still adore and support both Joe and Demi individually and together. I have been humbled by the way Demi in particular has handled all this and by some of the amazing comments I have read here. A lot of what I personally like about Joe, his well meaning but chaotic/Peter Pan like approach to life probably contributed to how things have turned out with Demi, but I think he is trying to improve himself and I believe his motives are generally good.
I also believe Joe and Demi will always have a connection and dearly hope they will rebuild their friendship. Whether they will ever be a couple again only time will tell, but as enough people have said here, what is most important for those of us who support them is that they are both happy.
Love is rarely perfect and it takes many different forms, but don’t doubt that it exists between Joe and Demi because you are not the only one who saw it. How it works out is something we have no control over and that is for the best really. We have our own lives to lead and our own people to love.

After seeing the most recent pictures of Joe and Ashley, I really think that they are happy, and that Joe is in fact in love with her, you can see it by the way how calm and relaxed he is with her, and I really am happy for him. I like Ashley as a person, she is a nice girl, and as for Joe, I think he still has a lot to lern and a lot of growing up to do, but in the end, Demi is right, he has the best intentions, he just makes mistakes like we all do, and as much as I hate to say it, I think that Joe and Ashley won’t break up in the near future, they have chemistry, I have to admit that and I if I would say that I am mad or sad or angry about that fact, I would be lying.
After all that happened between Joe and Demi, what really matters is for them to be happy, no matter if they are together or not, because that’s the only way for them to rebuild their friendship.
Yes, Joe started dating Ashley really really soon after his break up with Demi, and that must’ve hurt her, but love can’t be planned, it just happens, and if he felt like Ashley could be a special person in his life, then it was a good decision to start going out with her.
I don’t know what was going on between Joe and Demi during the time Joe started seeing Ashley, I have no idea how she reacted, but I know that if Demi would have been seriously destroyes by that, Joe would have never brought Ashley to concerts, because he is still a friend of hers, and nothing can change what they had, nothing can change the past of their strong friendship.
I still don’t understand why Joe broke up with Demi out of nowhere, they seemed happy at the last pictures we got of them, and that video on the beach, but who knows, maybe Joe did enjoy spending time with her, because he was used to it, after all she was his best friend.
I have to admit that from looking at the pictures, Joe seems to be more sure with Ashley, probably because there isnt as much pressure on Jashley as it was on Jemi.
Let’s face it, their relationship was under a hell lot of pressure, everyone always waited for that to happen, and when it happened, it was the number one topic, everyone started saying their opion on it, they were judged, followed and the media was basically obsessed with their relationship, not to mention those countless amount of Jonas Fans who always claimed how fake that relationship was.
After all, I hope Joe ends up happy, no matter what he decides to do, and that one day him and Demi can be friends again, because the most beautiful thing wasn’t their relationship, it was their friendship, watching it grow from the very beginning.
I disagree on the fact that Joe wouldn’t have brought Ashley to the concerts if Demi would’ve been ‘destroyed’ about him having a new girl because they’re ‘friends’.
I’m sorry, but it’s so obvious that they were (and still are) absolutely not okay with each other. I’m pretty sure they had at least one fight and maybe it was even some ‘in your face’ move by Joe. Look, they even ignored each other on stage! Or maybe Joe just didn’t really think about it before he invited Ashley, wouldn’t surprise me 😉
That doesn’t mean I don’t think they still mean a lot to each other in some way, like I said, now that Joe’s moved on and is happy with another girl, I’m sure he misses his best friend bc having Demi in his life would make it ‘complete’. But Demi’s obviously not okay with what Joe did/is doing constantly. I think for her, it’s ‘all or nothing’ and Joe obviously chose ‘nothing’ in her eyes.
That’s why rebuilding the friendship will be so hard. Because although they have chemistry, Joe mostly loves Demi as a friend, but the relationship was obviously some kind of dream come true for Demi and she was so hurt.
And I guess I’m saying this for the third time now, I don’t think Demi’s problem is that Joe broke up in general, but that he rushed into a relationship with his BEST FRIEND when he wasn’t sure about it.
That’s propably one of the reasons Joe’s called a player, but as Demi said, I think he’s good intentions, he just needs to mature. I wonder how things would’ve gone if Joe and Demi started dating like 2 years later..?

I am generally in agreement with Lovebirds. Joe and Ashley seem very happy together and based on what I have seen, I think it is more than likely that they are sleeping together. Given Joe’s background that would be a really big deal for him, I don’t think this is some quickie relationship to get over Demi, I think he is in love.
We should not forget though that this is still a relatively new relationship. It is really easy to be smiley and lovely together (particularly when you know people are taking photos)in the first flushes of a romance. Only time will tell if there is a deeper connection beyond that will last.
Demi is keeping a super low profile, hopefully continuing to concentrate on her friends, family and career. It would be so easy for her to comment on Joe and Ashley (she must be getting dozens of requests) or to be bitter on twitter, but she isn’t so I think she is being a good friend to Joe. I wouldn’t really expect anything else, she is so sweet. Love that girl.

If that thing with Camp Rock 3 is true, then I seriously can’t be happy about it. I was really hoping for Demi to break away from the JB and her disney image.
I was hoping she would get the chance to prove herself and start acting in more serious movies. And besides, it won’t be the same. Demi and Joe aren’t on good terms, so how awkward will that be?
They will have to be all coupley and in love, when in fact Demi got her heart broken from that guy.
I’m not happy about this, I was hoping that CR 2 was the last one.
CR won’t be the same if it’s like this, what made Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 so exciting for me was the fact that I knew that Jemi would spend time together, enjoying their company while filming, and I was excited to see the chemistry. But there is nothing left of that! They won’t enjoy their time together, and the chemistry might still be there but it will be so bitter so see that, because we know that in true life, it didnt work out, and that they have lost any chance at dating again.

don’t like them either…I just came across this song a few days ago and it really fit the situation I’m in so I started listening to that song!
yeah CR3 is the worst idea that they could have…plus what else is there to tell about Camp Rock? Like what kind of plotline is there to come? We already had the first summer, drama with Tess, Shane and Mitchie getting close, having a fight and making up, then in Camp Rock 2 we had the (not really unexpected) other camp and the fight between those two camps. We had loads of Shane and Mitchie trying to get to know each other, we already saw a Smitchie kiss and of course the cheesy “This is our song” ending.
So what else is there to make a third movie about? Maybe they want to do one about Smitchie and then they make a new couple: Naitlyn, and then there will be fight of course, and then they will make up and everyone lives happily ever after.
Sorry, but this is really annoying in my opinion, don’t get me wrong I loved CR and CR2, it’s a typical disney movie, I’m just so annoyed that they always have to try to make another one and another one, even though it’s just simply not interesting anymore.

I’m really really worried about Demi! She’s sick AGAIN, and that is just not normal anymore! You could say she’s practically sick once in a month!
There are two possibilities: 1. something is wrong with her body or
2. she has to deal with a lot of emotional and physical stress!
It’s not a secret that stress, especially on a emotional level can lead to being sick, simply because it makes the immunesystem weaker, and judging how often Demi is sick, I’d say she must have a LOT of stress.
I don’t think it’s just her work, JB, Sel, Miley they are all celebs too, and they don’t get sick that much, of course it always depends on the person, but still.

I’ve read some “die bitch” “no wonder all the boys dump you, you’re a fugly nobody” and that stuff. I’ve even read one or two that said something about her biological something about the lines “If I were your dad I would’ve run off too”.
And on the other hand, Joe. I’m not saying it’s his fault that she’s sick, I’m just saying that Joe has been one of her closest friends, maybe even THE closest friend, they were best friends and like Demi AND Joe said, they were always there for each other.
Now that Joe has Ashley, it doesn’t seem like they are like that anymore. Demi is probably hurt because he moved on, but she still misses her best friend, knowing that things won’t go back to how they were.
One way or another, the first possibility is scaring me much more! She is sick most of the time, so I hope that she has been to the doctor already, checking if there is everything ok with her. I know some stuff about med, and I know that being sick often can have serious reasons.

Imagine you finally date that boy you’ve always wanted, and then he dumps you and dates another girl but still expects you to be his ‘best friend’ while basically rubbing his new relationship in your face. Wouldn’t you feel just so … jealous, irrelevant, downgraded? Until the new relationship of you ‘best friend’ is over as well and he comes crawling back because he needs someone to help him through the hard time? And everytime you see him, it’s impossible not to think about the way things used to be?
That’s why being/staying friends is practically impossible when you had romantic feelings for the person. If you were really truly in love. Yes. Sorry.

Guys..One year ago i`ve become a jemi fan and at first I thought that only Joe had feelings for demi,because he kept staring at her, hugging her and making her laugh.I remeber when Demi was dating Cody LInley he was showing jealous signs…And It made me happy when I was seeing all that,when Demi showed signals of loving Joe too..And I KNEW that they were in love wiht eachother.Especiaaly Joe, atleast he was showing it more than Demi with his body launglage. So I don`t get this: they loved eacother for a long time and FINALLY they got to be together and then he decided to break up with her just to have ANOTHER of his relationships?????? The problem is…what is there to post about? Joe and Demi are obviously not talking at the moment, and this situation makes most people think that the fact that Joe moved on, and is publicly showing that, means that any chance of those two to reconnect is lost.

Everybody is in such a rush to have everything over and settled. Joe is still only 21 and Demi is only 18.
So Joe and Ashley have been spending a lot of time together and have now been dating longer than Jemi. So what. Spending a lot of time together is what you do when you are dating someone new (Joe & Demi may have skipped a lot of that because they already knew each other pretty well). It doesn’t mean that Ashley is definitely “the one” or that Joe and Demi will never be close again. A lot changes with time, if you doubt me go back on this site over a year ago.
Sure at the end of the tour things seemed strained between them on stage, but Joe’s new girlfriend was there, they had both had been sick and I guess it would have been emotionally draining being under so much pressure for a whole tour – easier to just concentrate on the fans and not worry about people interpreting your every reaction to each other. Instead look back at the footage of the New Jersey concerts (which were after Ashley at RoadDogs, Demi’s birthday etc. etc.) it clearly is possible for them still to have fun together.
The South America part of the tour is soon and I would like to bet we see some Jemi moments on tour. I am sure Joe will try not to be obvious for the sake of his girlfriend, but he has always craved Demi’s attention and I don’t think he can resist playing along if Demi is in a good mood (& the South American fans seem good for her spirits).
I can understand people are disappointed in Joe, but he isn’t perfect (no-one is) and I really don’t think he ever deliberately set out to hurt Demi. He is a guy and (like many guys I’ve known – sorry guys) pretty oblivious to the hurt he can cause by just doing what makes him happiest at the time.
Demi knows him better than all of us, so it is up to her to decide if he can ever have her trust and friendship again, but I don’t see a reason to completely give up all hope on Joe and Demi, give it time.
I vote for a new post when tour starts again Friday.

The thing is that you can’t really ‘let go’ but still support them at the same time.
I’ve found an old issue of Teen Vogue in my room and read these interviews they gave (the one when they were dating and the one after the breakup.)
Adding up all the things I know plus remembering their statements (Demi saying that for her, nothing was missing in their relationship, Joe saying a 100 times how much Demi means to him and how much he wants them to stay friends) I’m pretty sure that Demi loved Joe so much that she simply can’t be friends with him because it would hurt her too much. It’s like ‘Lovers or nothing’ and you know what Joe chose. You see, I think after the breakup Demi did a lot of things just to make Joe jeaulous, and it took her some time to realize that it’s not working, and that’s when she started ignoring him. I honestly doubt that Demi will have another serious relationship anytime soon. And I think Joe is sad about the way things went, like really, I doubt he hurt her intentionally.
Maybe one day they’ll find a way back to each other, but it’ll take a lot of time I guess, and who’ll still be here at that point?
For me, it was so disappointing because they kinda made me believe in love and then smashed it again.
But c’mon, those are two celebrities, so please don’t let this get to you too much. I’m 15, I spend time with my friends, go out on parties, get to know new people, I’m just figuring out life and it’s not good to worry about two people you don’t know that much, especially not at this time.

After all these are simply 2 celebrities who tried to be in a relationship, but it just didn’t work out, and that’s ok bcuz these ppl aren’t robots or machines…..they are human beings like u and me. And I understand how alot of u are sooo dissapointed in joe, he couldve handled the situation better…..but there had to be a reason for him to break up with demi. He wouldn’t just do that out of the blue, or bcuz he felt like it. We will never know exactly why he did what he did, but like I said he’s a person too, so I’m gonna treat him like one, and I’m gonna respect the desicions he makes. And then we all know how talented demi is. She will probably go on with her career, and continue to do great things. Maybe she will find another guy whose better for her soon, or maybe it will take her a long time. What I’m tryin to say here is that there’s millions of possibilities of what these 2 could end up like. Together or separate, we all have to except the fact that life does go on…..and that we all have our OWN lives to look forward to. So my suggestion is….wish them the best of luck….and they can take it from there…..

Off topic but I find it pretty annoying how Demi wants to do more mainstream music.
I mean, I don’t wanna judge an album I haven’t heard yet, but it depends. If she does music like Rihanna (I mean the new Rihanna) I wouldn’t mind it, altho I’ll doubt that suits her.
But if she ends up sounding like Selena, like basically EVERYONE that sells well nowadays, I’d be just SO disappointed. There’s not many REAL musicians that have commercial success and thought Demi was one of them altho Disney is holding her back … I could also imagine her doing some stuff like Norah Jones or something (:
But who knows, maybe her fanbase is too young to recognise real music, so mainstream is the only thing that sells, but mainstream artists never last that long because they’re so exchangeable.
I don’t think that her music will actually sound like Selena’s…the difference between Demi and Selena is simply that Selena is a singer, and Demi is a musicican. Demi writes her own music, feels her own music, she puts her heart into it, music is like her life, it’s the most important thing and not just a hobby. Selena on the other side sings the songs they want her to sing, I mean yes, the songs sell and stuff, but music is just another little chapter of her life, not bigger than the other ones, and there’s the difference. No offense, It’s not like I dislike her or anything, it’s just a fact.
I don’t think that Demi meant actual mainstream…I guess that her new album will have a bit of everything. But what we do know is, that Demi wrote most of the songs on this new album herself, and that means that no matter what genre it will be, it won’t be just another mainstream thing, because it comes from an actual musician.
I think she’s gonna surprise all of us with her next album, in a positive way..
2 interesting things I noticed today..
1. AMA interview where Demi says she is playing her character Mitchie on stage during the Camp Rock 2 part of the shows.
2. The latest photos of Joe and Ashley. Joe looks much more “in charge” of the relationship now, like he is a lot more confident of Ashley’s affections and she seems more submissive. Wonder if he will go back to form and lose interest in the relationship or if missing Ashley & wondering what she is up to on set while he is on tour will keep the flame going? Only wondering because I did predict they would be over by the end of the South American part of tour, but then I really wasn’t expecting Ashley to go all mushy over Joe like she seems to have.
something i just found out is that ashley greene is blocking jemi fans on twitter!!!!!!!
Well that’s hardly surprising given how unbelievably nasty some of them have been to her. I have no problem if people want to express a bit of their anger and frustration on their twitter accounts, but I really don’t know what to think when I see so many tweets to Ashley from people who claim to support Joe and Demi which are deliberately and persistently cruel and spiteful to her.
What good does that do? It won’t change anything, it certainly won’t impress Joe or Demi and I don’t think it is good for the tweeter to become so very bitter about these things.
There are better ways to channel negative feelings – Demi is a great example of this, focussing on the positive things in her life.
If anyone reading this thinks I am wrong, I’d love to hear how you think what these tweeters are doing is in anyway justified.

No Jemi duets in Puerto Rica & Demi unfollowed Joe on Twitter (& refollowed her friend Keith)
This is not what I was hoping for..

Its sad enough that Demi unfollowed Joe, but what’s even more shocking is that she unfollowed Kevin and Papa Jonas too. I guess they had a fight, and I to be honest, I kind of knew that it would happen, but I would have never thought that Papa Jonas and Kevin had ANYTHING to do with it. The fact that she is still following Nick is good, because she needs a good friend right now, and I hope that Nick will continue to be her friend no matter what his brothers or his dad say!
I think her tweet “Anyways, good night my friends. Thankful for my family and true friends.” says it all. Demi is disappointed in Joe, maybe there’s even more behind the story, but whatever it was, the last tweet that she retweeted was from Keith and it was “The true friends will always come through for you and even when you think they may be gone forever, they’re always there :)”
But what makes me kind of nervous is that Demi and Joe didn’t do any duets, because there must have been a MAJOR fallout, or else they would’ve been professional enough to just do the duets.
Joe really changed. He replied someone who said “fuck you” to him, He replied a girl that is disappointed in him..
I really don’t know if they will ever be able to be friends again.
On a happier note, though, things with Selena seem to get better, Demi mentioned her during the concert she said “my amazing friend Selena” and then she mentioned their movie Princess Protection Programme. I’m really really glad that it seems like there’s still a chance of those two to reconnect 😀 that would be so awesome, their friendship was so special and unique
I just hope this ain’t some kind of lickass move because she’s all about success now, like I already said

This “Demi unfollowing Joe” thing has gotten really messy on Twitter. At first I thought that maybe Demi was a little pissy at the fact that Joe moved on so quickly but now I honestly think that this is waaaaaaay deeper. I believe Demi just wishes Joe would have tried harder to maintain their friendship. Which to me it seemed liked he was trying is hardest to do. But she kept pushing away and ran to Nick. mMybe she couldn’t get over the fact that he was dating someone new. Cause if you think about it. Joe kinda has a pattern. He dated Taylor for like what, 2-3 months broke up with her (She was hurt so she went on a rampage dissing him.) then dated Camilla Belle within a month. She broke his heart so he stayed single for almost a year then he dated Demi for 2 months (she was hurt so she took some shots at hims) then he dated Ashley Greene within a month. That makes me think that Joe was never in love with Demi if that was the case he would’ve taken that year long single break like he did with Camille. Anyway, I hear she unfollowed Papa Jonas and Kevin too. To me Kevin never seemed like he liked Demi so I can just see all four of them getting into it backstage. SMH See people this is why you don’t date your best friends nothing good can come out of it. I don’t know who the hell told them everything was gonna be normal after that breakup

Demi has unfollowed Joe – I can understand that she doesn’t want to read Joe’s tweets right now, he’s tweeting Ashley’s friends every day so why would she want to see that?. It is a big step for her though.
She’s unfollowed Kevin – well he never followed her back anyway.
She’s unfollowed Papa Jonas – a bit more worrying, but he’s not going to tweet anything she doesn’t already know or he can tell her in person. He mainly tweets stuff to fans.
She’s stopped following Garbo – well he stopped following her in the middle of the last tour so it was probably only a matter of time.
She’s stopped following Garbo’s girlfriend Paris Carney – the Paris/Ashley twitter love fest must be pretty annoying for her, so I can see that.
She’s stopped following Kellan Lutz – well aside from the fact that they have never really tweeted since she followed him, he is one of Ashley’s closest friends and they will soon be filming together again so it’s probs for the best.
She also unfollowed Slash, Michael Bruno, the guy from BLG and some other girl.
The only unfollow that bothers me is Joe. I suspect that Demi is protecting herself from reading about his new life with Ashley to help herself move on. What is annoying me is the way that some people on twitter are turning this all into some kind of all out Jonas family vs Demi vs Ashley war thing.
Clearly something was up with them not doing the duets last night, but the fact that Demi refollowed Keith (and before him Alex Noyes and Dirk Mai) shows that she doesn’t close the book on people just because she unfollows them.
She got annoyed with Joe and added him to her unfollow list, it doesn’t mean she’ll never talk to another Jonas again or that they won’t be able to work together. They are both pretty excitable people and I am sure she has been mad at him plenty of times before. Just “hugging it out” is no longer likely to be an option.
She could have said something nasty about him on twitter, instead she has chosen to “blank” him for a bit. Doesn’t seem like the end of the world to me.

Well the duets thing could be something they decided in advance for the whole tour or a last minute, one night thing. I guess we’ll have a better idea after tonight’s concert.
The unfollowing was definitely a last night thing, but we can’t be sure if the two are connected.
The true friends thing could be a sarcastic response to Joe’s tweets or it could be because Demi spoke to Keith, decided to refollow him and was reminded of what he tweeted. Hence her retweet of his old tweet (from when she wasn’t following him) to explain her previous tweet.
We just don’t know enough to really know what is going down.

My Opinion:
1) Yes in recent pics Joe seem to be more confident in him and Ash relationship. He “seems” to be in charge. He is comfortable and sure of her now.
2) Who knows what is really going on in him and Ash relationship or between him and Demi.
3)Yes there is no more duets with Demi and Joe on tour right now. She sings This is Me with her set list and he sings Gotta Find You with the JB set list.
4) The Ash/Paris (Garbo girlfriend) tweets to Joe and Garbo about scents seems to have set off some type of explosion or reaction with Demi and the JB’s.
That same night Demi unfollowed them.
Don’t know what is going on but Jonas Group (Papa J) haven’t really done a whole lot to manage Demi music career very well. They seem to put JB before anyone else. Sure it is Holloywood Records job too but your manager supposed to go to bat for you.
5)Anyway I don’t know what will happen with Demi and JB now. She is still good with Nick, the rest of JB band and the CR2 dancers. Demi will probably go her own way and JB/Joe will go their way after tour. Don’t know if they wil have even close to what they had before as friends or whatever. Lot of anger and hurt there I think. I dont’even think Joe and Demi had a “pure” friendship anyway. There was always some crushing on either one of their sides from the beginning. It was obvious since CR.
Demi will still continue with the SA tour though. No choice THERE.
6) I seriously don’t know what Joe wants out of life. He is like all over the place with first saying way back,he wants to act in mostly comedies, own a restaurant, and NOW he is putting out a solo CD.
I hope he is not trying to be like Nick by going musically solo cause Nick is his own guy. He does what he wants, is secure in himself and seemed to don’t give a crap about anyone opinion.
Joe has to find his own niche. I hope THAT is really what he is doing and not just following anyone’s that wants to give it advice.

I love how you think THAT is what’s going on. You guys are precious. I know you have no way of knowing and these are about the only conclusions you can draw from your limited information, but it’s so wrong that it is laughable. You could honestly do a better job of figuring things out though. Demi refollowing Keith, Danielle being MIA, Joe tweeting the “love is louder” stuff while all of this was going on… They’re ALL connected. Just think about it. You have more pieces to this than you realize.

At least Nick retweeted Demi today, so at least one Jonas is openly supporting Demi. I don’t think Nick would retweet her unless he knew the rest of his family were going to be OK with it, so I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt for Nick’s sake.
actually I think Nick would in fact retweet her, even if his family was not ok with it! And besides, I don’t really think that Papa J would say “son, you will totally ignore her from now on” whatever happened was obviously not something that involved nick, and I also think that the fight was partly about the cancellation of the duets. it IS part of demi’s set, and now her set is even shorter!
I have a feeling that whatever is going on; Nick is staying out of it and supports both sides, he is that kind of guy that wouldn’t let a friend down, and just because demi unfollowed some of his family, because of a fight or something, doesn’t mean that he automatically agrees with everything is father/brothers say or do.
Lovebirds, I get what you are saying and you may well be right, but I don’t think we can get too hung up on the idea that Demi unfollowed anyone because of a fight, because don’t really know. Maybe she just feels their tweets are irrelevent or distracting? We don’t know what really happened with the duets either.
I sort of get the feeling Nick is annoyed with Joe over the way this whole thing is going, but I can’t really say why, so i guess it’s just a feeling.
To be honest manda, I don’t really think that she feels like their tweets are irrelevent or distracting, that would not be a reason for her to unfollow them.
I guess that Demi unfollowed Kevin wasn’t such a big surprise, simply because he didn’t even follow her back for whatever reason.
But the fact that she unfollowed JOE and PAPA J and GARBO, in my personal opinion it means that there was in fact a fight. Demi is even still following Selena, and to be honest HER tweets are pure promoting, and stuff, she follows several people whose tweet are probably irrelevant to her, and considering that Joe was once her best friend…I don’t think that his tweets just bore her or something.
Especially with Papa Jonas, he’s her manager, twitter is social networking for Demi, and papa J and Joe are big parts of it.
And of course there could be other reasons that the duets are no longer part of the set list, but what’s really bothering me is the fact that those duets, ESPECIALLY WCAT is like…the main song of the movie, it’s the song that excites most people, their duets have always been really really important, partly because there are so many Jemi fans out there and partly because Mitchie’s and Shane’s relationship is like the main part of Camp Rock, and that duet was definitely meant to be a highlight and suddenly both duets are not on the list anymore? Something is up with that, I would have understood if they would have cut out ONE of the two duets, but both?
And the fact that the cancellation of the duets and the unfollowing happened almost at the same time…makes it even more weird.
I totally understand that you have a different opinion on it, and I sure don’t want to change your mind, because I, as a huge Jemi-fan, would love to think about this in a different way, but somehow I can’t…
But no matter what’s going on, I still have hope that Demi and Joe will be able to leave some of their difficulties behind one day…Demi is a person who might be pissed of easily, but she is able to forgive, we saw that with many many people already, the fact that she’s talking about Sel again, she refollowed Keith, she is talking about Taylor Swift in a nice way again, (though I kinda liked that ‘Ask Taylor’ thing :P)
This is what I love about this site right now, I can express my thoughts and people like you respond with respect and intelligence. I still have hope too 🙂

And BTW, I would totally understand if Demi was mad at Papa Jonas. He puts all his strength and time in promiting his sons, like a father should do, but he shouldn’t forget that he’s also Demi’s manager, and he should actually start to promote her the way she deserves to be promoted.

Ok, I just read 3 new articles on joe and Ashley Greene. They have several photos of making out at california’s pizza kitchen…apparently the whole time they were just staring into eachother’s eyes, and they were both all over each other. Joe wants ashley to move in with him because he wants to spend every single spare moment with her, and he thinks that she is his future bride….he wants to buy her a ring…yea, this kinda news doesn’t affect me anymore…except one thing. He claims that he FINALLY feels truly in love with someone. What is this supposed to mean??? Ok, so you’re telling me that all the other girls you dated were just for fun…that you never REALLY were in love with them?? If that’s what the case is then don’t then stop giving them false hopes. Cuz in the end, it may not affect you but it could really hurt the other person…which is EXACTLY what you did to demi. You ruined everything for her, now the least you can do is stay away, asshole. Sry…I usually don’t use words like that, and seeing stuff about jashley always makes me angry. I guess I should get used to it though….
I think he didn’t mean it like that…Joe has always been kinda bad at expressing his thoughts, I think what he meant was that those past years, he was dating several girls, and he obviously had feelings for them, had a crush on them, but he really, totally fell in love with Ashley (which I doubt by the way). Being in love isn’t part of every relationship you have, especially when you’re young. Of course Joe had feelings for Taylor, Camilla, and the others too, but it doesn’t necessarily mean LOVE. When you’re 18-20 years old you date several girls, because you have a crush on them, and because you’re looking for the right girl.
I’m not defending his actions, because I really think that he messed up, and that he made the wrong decisions, but…people make mistakes, and if he really is in love with her that much, then eventually I will be happy for him, but I still can’t forget what he put Demi through, His biggest mistake was that even though he had time for years to think about his feelings for Demi, it seems like he really didn’t think much about that before deciding to give it a try

Honestly, I think Demi has been in love with Joe since the day they became friends. I think what happened is that Joe put her in the “friend zone” and she just played that position hoping that one day he would make the move to be something more. Well she waited and he didn’t so she did. I believe she hopped into the relationship already in love so she was immediately comfortable with their new status. Joe on the other hand wasn’t and you can tell by the way he always looked when he was with her. He seemed uncomfortable. I don’t think he ever got used to being romantically involved with her so he broke it off. Both Joe and Demi said at the beginning of the relationship that they would remain friends no matter what. But I don’t think she ever really thought about what it would be like if their relationship did end because she thought it would last forever. She went into the relationship thinking she had found her Mr. Right, her prince charming, her perfect match. Did you noticed Demi would always use the words “perfect” and “in-love” when describing Joe/Jemi but Joe never really commented on the relationship? Anyway, I do think that she had intended to remain friends and maybe even a possible rekindling during the tour. But when she found out Joe was dating someone new already I believe that’s when she really got hurt. If you look at videos of them during the tour it seemed that Joe would try to be friendly but she kind of pulled away from that. Of course because she was hurt. You see I don’t think it was the break up that hurt Demi or the “alleged” lie Joe told her about the break up. No what really is hurting Demi is watching the guy she’s in love with fall in love with another girl. Rev Run said it best ‘Hurt people, hurt people.” Demi is hurt so she believes that by so called “cutting Joe off” she is hurting him because he’s no longer in her close friend circle. I also believes this little “thing” she’s got going with Nick is also a ploy to get at Joe. (i.e. the hugs, tweets, etc.)It also seems like Joe isn’t phased by it at all. He still follows her. Matter of fact half the people she unfollowed still follows her. Apparently Demi is the only one really hurt and so she is acting on the one emotion that comes along with being hurt, anger. I think we all can agree that this entire situation could have been handled better on both parts but hey there’s nothing that can be done now. It’s on them to fix this.

I agree. Remember at the beginning of the tour they were getting along very well and everyone was like “Oh, they’re so
back to being best friends!” and I didn’t believe it. I thought she was trying to get him back, and since she started to ignore him by the time things got a little more obvious and serious with Ashley, I guess I’m right.
Demi’s tweets seem pretty happy and also in love in some way (happily tho) but I just can’t stop thinking that all this still bothers her somehow.
Oh and yeah Nick is so amazing, I mer him in Londin this summer.

Ashley and Joe have apparently become very mutually dependent, personally I think being the subject of all that hate has probably made them closer – bonding through adversity etc.
& in the weird things I’ve noticed category – there are no photos of Demi without a ring on her promise finger anymore, I haven’t seen one for months (wonder if this is a subtle dig at Joe/something random/a personal choice she has made).

I don’t know if it’s true, but I think it is. Aggression is a symptom of burnout, you can’t control that, so it’s not her fault.
If it’s true that the Tour members called her “Demi Drama” then I’m seriously disappointed in them. That is immature and can be seen as bullying. Good to know that they are here for her -.-

For me it’s clear now, Jemi should have never happened and it’s the same for this tour! you can’t deny that Joe has a part of responsibility in the fact that Demi left the tour, he’s showing up and OFF with his new girlfriend without even paying attention to Demi anymore! I knew that atfer the break up they couldn’t be BFF again, it was obvious and absoultely clear with the way that Joe treated Demi after! Now for me, Jemi is done, and I don’t want it to happen again! no one should believe zack taylor’s thing about saying jemi was PR. we dont know if its true or not, i for one dont think they dated for PR but they looked like they dated for real. im hearing alot of rumors now that the dancer that demi was fighting with was shorty. this is all NOT joe’s fault, only part of it so i dont blame him for everything that’s happening to demi. we don’t know what happened exactly but obviously things were going on backstage of the tour. i wonder when demi’s done at the treatment center is if she has an interview and tells them about what happened, maybe parts of it but not all cause its her personal life. demi’s really strong for hiding all her emotions in on this tour, it was like a rollercoaster between her and joe during the performances. i think maybe once demi is out of the treatment center that demi won’t see joe for awhile, kinda like what miley did back when niley broke up. we all can’t say jemi will never be a couple again, but we never know what the future could hold for them.

For example I was once told by someone who had been at a party (& they sincerely believed it) that there was an orgy going on in the kitchen during the party. I spent the whole night in said kitchen drinking tea & chatting with friends & while at one point there was a couple getting pretty steamy in their kissing, that was it. People go to parties, get very drunk, hear rumours, take jokes too seriously and enhance stories repeatedly until they themselves believe them as fact. The above is not the only example of this sort of thing I have come across
I am viewing the rumours about Demi that come from a student at a party in the light of my own experience and I have to say based on that I can just about (& let’s remember the evidence is not really there) believe she might possibly have tried a little coke or got drunk or got a bit too cosy with a guy, things a lot of girls her age have probably done and lived to regret, but I just don’t believe the full story as some of the media report it and I suspect it was all a lot more boring than that.
On another point I read the People article and was sort of disappointed that they only focussed on Demi’s troubles, rather than mentioning all the people who have said how nice she is in person, how professional she was in the face of a lot of stress, all the work she did for charity etc.

Look I love love Jemi & Demi, but there is too much stuff out there relating Demi’s problems to Ashley. Demi’s clearly been worked too hard, had far too much pressure on her and it has all been too much. As much as I think Joe dating Ashley didn’t help with her self esteem and probably contributed to her breaking point, there is much more to it than just that.
Joe and Demi are very similar people in a lot of ways and I personally think Joe’s relationship with Ashley (more experienced, more together,and with more free time) is a lot about him getting the sort of TLC that he also needs to cope with his lifestyle and that he himself wasn’t able to give Demi when she most needed it.
I’m not saying Joe isn’t a dumbass for bringing Ashley on tour and clueless about the impact on Demi. I can almost imagine him asking Demi if it would be OK and her saying it would be fine because they were friends now & him believing that made it OK.
I am pretty disturbed though about how many people was to demonise Ashley in all this. She is very pretty in her own way and she seems nice in every interview I’ve seen of her. I personally can’t believe she has the same sort of connection as Demi seemed to have with Joe, but she is entitled to date him if it makes her happy without anyone making pointless nasty comments about her.
Demi will get better & be more successful & happy – because she is a truly amazing and beautiful person with good friends and loyal fans. Joe will probably change his mind AGAIN about what he wants to do with his life and Demi will either be a part of that (if he has any sense and hasn’t completely blown it) or she won’t. Ashley should be appreciated as an actress and model and respected as Joe’s girlfriend of the moment. Sure it’s disappointing for us that things have gone the way they have this year, but we shouldn’t but into criticising Ashley, it won’t help Demi, Joe our us.

Just the Sonny(Demi) & Joe Duet 😥
Well it’s been forever since I was on this site, but I figured I’d write one last (LONG) farewell post. I supported the idea of a relationship between Joe and Demi because I really thought I saw something special between them. I think a lot of us must have seen that. And, for a short time, Joe and Demi seemingly saw it too.
The breakup was sad, but nowhere near as heartbreaking as hearing about Demi leaving the tour and going to a Treatment Center. There’s no doubt she’s been dealing with underlying issues for a long time, and hopefully with the help she is receiving, she will now start the process of healing. It is a brave step for an 18 yr old to realize she needs help, and even braver to be willing to seek it. Demi is far from perfect, but I’ll take imperfection over a fake facade any day. I hope she gets a better sense of balance in her life, a good management team, keeps only supportive & loyal friends, and just focuses on what she loves.
As for Joe. I don’t want to offend any Joe fans so I will try to choose my words carefully. Although I do find it interesting how people who can’t stand others criticizing Joe’s behavior, have no problem judging others who they don’t agree with. I have no problem that Joe broke up with Demi. These things happen in life. How he broke up with her, and what he did afterwards is more troubling to me though. He showed so little care or consideration for her feelings that it still completely astounds me. Truly, I can’t understand how little concern he seems to have had for Demi’s wellbeing or her heart (particularly for someone who claimed to be her bestfriend). To me that shows a major character flaw, one that not even a Treatment Center can fix.
I will never know his intentions, but his actions have shown a lot. It isn’t difficult to read between the lines. All I can say is, you reap what you sow. Maybe one day it will hit him like a lightning bolt, and he’ll see the pain he caused beyond the initial breakup. And then maybe have a little more compassion for others or at least a little perspective on how other people feel. Neither of them have behaved perfectly, so let’s hope they both learn a lot from this years experiences and move forward and grow. I could probably write an essay about all this but this post is already ridiculously long and I won’t burden you with my analysis.
Anyway this is just my honest opinion. It means nothing in the end. It’s true, there’s better uses for our time, even though it was a nice thought back in 2009 analyzing how two people might one day fall in love. Surely true love still exists somewhere. It’s just “jemi” wasn’t it after all.
Best wishes to you all over the holidays and in the future years to come. It should be interesting to see what twists and turns happen in the next decade. If Demi stays strong and healthy, that girl has enough talent to accomplish anything she puts her heart into. I hope she finds that loving husband and beautiful family one day too. She deserves it.
DEAR OWNERS WHO AIN’T GONNA READ THIS ANYWAY, HOW ABOUT A NEW POST?
Guess I am the only one, but even after everything that happened, I still think they’d be an amazingly sweet couple.
But then again, love’s an illusion, kids. Yes, there might be that one, true love, but even that’ll end one day. Everything ends. But so does pain. Life will take you down now and then. It’s about getting up again. But no, there ain’t that everlasting love, everlasting happiness. Or at least just in one of 1000000000000000000000 cases. That’s how it is.
Wow, that’s a really depressing way to finish. I don’t believe that love is an illusion, my experience tells me otherwise. I do believe that many people have unrealistic expectations of love – it is rarely like the movies. You may feel an initial physical/chemical attraction to someone, but I promise you however strong it is it won’t last more than a couple of years. What makes true long lasting love is finding someone who makes you feel like that, who you can also love as a friend and companion too. The “secret” of long lasting love for me is falling in love with the same person repeatedly and having faith that that person is there for me always even when we are having bad days, weeks, months. Being happily married ( or coupled if you don’t do marriage) doesn’t mean you will never find another person attractive, it means you have built something bigger than that with someone that means more to you than anything else, a relationship you are passionate about. I know many people who have been lucky enough to find this sort of love, some pretty late in life and it is so much more valuable than the kind of romance movies usually peddle (I am oddly enough going to make an exception for the 1st ten minutes of UP because that is what true love really is). I don’t think you should give up on the idea of love entirely, just expect it to come with all the flaws of a real person and to require patience and compromise along the way.
On the Jemi front, I believe they had potential for an amazing relationship; I believe they had chemistry; I believe they were BOTH very damaged when it didn’t work out. Only time will tell what will happen in the future, but I very much hope they both find happiness.
Finally as no-one posts here much anymore, I would like to wish everyone who has shared their thoughts here the happiest of holidays and the brightest of futures. We shared a dream and you all have a little place in my heart.
I didn’t say it doesn’t exist. I said it never last. And I don’t mean that feeling of having “butterflies in your stomach” but also the really deep connection you have to someone if you’re not only in love with them, but really love them. Yeah, maybe it’s everlasting for one person, but there’s always two people in a relationship. And one is always gonna end it. 99.999 of all couples break up, no matter if they both thought it would last forever. Maybe Joe and Ashley will marry one day. Maybe they won’t. Maybe they’ll break up in 6 months or maybe in 20 years.
Maybe that’s what life is about, about knowing that everything ends but still enjoying the moment and still being able to feel happy, finding someone/something new when things are over without always thinking “If everything ends, then what’s the sense of all this?” That’s it. Being a dreamer doesn’t help much if you’re not a fighter as well.

By the way, your girlfriend is gorgeous and I mean it. You guys look soooo good together. Congrats!!! I wish you the best! To be honest I really don’t know why I’m writing this to you write now..I guess alot of things have developed in my system over time and I just need to let it out. I knew you would understand….this site..you…and demi….jemi…used to be a part of my life. It may seem stupid but I used to come here everyday. the break up is one of the reasons she’s in there, besides many others. do you think they’d even let him see her? or nick? what should he tell her? it would just totally disturb her and bring her down. (i don’t think kevin cares…the situation between him and demi got worse and worse over the last year…)

Ok.. I`ll say something.I haven`t been here for a looong time..Minnie Mouse don`t mean to offend you but HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW THAT THEY FORGOT ABOUT HER??? -.- Do you have a proof?? Don`t believe rumors that DON`T have actual evidence!!!!
+ The JB would NEVER say that they forgot about Demi and her rehab,even if they want to because that`s bad for their image and believe me they had a really strong friendship,and even if Joe forgot about her(i highly doubt it) I don`t think the others did!! Like I said He flirted wiht Demi even if he was in a relationship with an another girl.. he always thought that Demi will always wait for him and that whatever he does,whoever he dates that someday, somehow when he finishes all of his adventures she will welcome him with open arms 😉 Like I was saying,Joe finally broke up with Camilla and he was single :)) Demi found the perfect opportunity with the shooting of CR-2 to put up sence to his mind.So they were both single and like she said in an interview she opened herself and told him that they were perfect for eachother.Joe coudln`t deny anything because he loved her and he didn`t want to ruin anything,even though she ruind his plans because he keeped her for later.He wanted to spend his youth with girls,fame,money and partying and then when the time comes for marrying he would marry her…But Demi didn`t want to wait for him forever so they got in a realtionship. Demi thought that they were serious because Her and Joe were friends for years and they finally got together,but Joe had second thoughts because he thought that they rushed in a realtionship.You can see in videos how happy they were,hugging,laughing in the shooting of the video of Make a wave..etc. As much as they want to deny it feelings are ALWAYS THERE 😉 The next thoughts are not quite mine even though I agree with them..I read them on twitter from Jemi fans but They do make sence so here it goes: Papa Jonas started ro realise that JB are gorwn up now and that younger fans will be more concentrated On Justin Bieber and younger stars so he thought of a way to bring more attention to The Jonas Brothers and to return some of the fans who stopped listening to the JB.Soo,what to do? 😉 Kevin was alredy married with Danielle,Nick was in love with his Job so he though of Joe who has a talent of seducing the girls.They needed some of the guys to date a popular girl so they would bring more attention to them.And what moves were popular??TWILIGHT of course! He couldn`t date kristen steward because she was with Rob so they decided Ashley Greene 😉 Joe broke up with Demi,maybe planing to return with her in the future and He started a relationship with Ashley.He though that Demi and him will be like before.Flirting,acting all friendly but it wasn`t like that at ALL!!! Demi distanced herself from Joe and started being closer with Nick j.There is a video when Nick and Demi are having fun at stage and when the songs finishes Demi and Nick hug just like Jemi did in the past.And Joe `s smile faded away 😉 He was JEALOUS and he was dating Ashley 😛 Here`s the proof guys!! Joe Jonas HAD other girlfriends in the past,BUT that NEVER stopped him from loving Demi.You see,Demi started it.Since they finished shooting CR-1 they had been flirting with eachother all the time and Demi saw that Joe won`t make any serious moves so she got herself a boyfriend-Cody Linley.So there are videos how Joe shows signs of jealosy towards Cody..But Demi and Joe continued flirting even though Demi was in a relationship with Cody..Later They broke up and Joe started dating Taylor Swift,but that STILL didn`t prevent them from showing their feeling for eachother.And you know the drama with Camilla Belle and taylor Swift…So Joe and Demi Didn`t have the time to date even if they wanted to because Joe moved on from one relationship to another and Demi couldn`t catch Joe being single..

Don’t get me wrong, Jemi is the sweetest. Yeah, Joe always had a little crush on her, that’s why he started dating her. But it had been more than just a crush for Demi all the time, obviously. It was too much for him, too fast. That’s why they broke up. And he really tried to reach out to her as a friend, and they were getting along just fine before he started dating Ashley. Because Demi still had hopes they’d get back together.
And yeah she’s had issues way before. The break up just made things worse. A lot.

To be on topic, I think it’s unfair how you blame Joe for Demi’s breakdown. I was a Jemi fan because Demi reminds me of a transgendered friend of mine, but she didn’t go through anything with Joe and Ashley that millions of people don’t go through every day having to see someone who dumped them at school or work. It isn’t a license to punch somebody out without an apology. I’m sorry your hero is now showing her true colours because the more that is revealed about her the more fans she rightfully loses.
It just shows how Demi is no longer a role model when people make up excuses for her bad behaviour. It isn’t a big deal to punch someone. It is other people’s fault that she takes slutty pics and uses drugs. I would say that these fans will grow up and realize how wrong they are but many are ADULTS already. 19 year old college students who should know better. 40 something year old mothers who spend far more time worrying about defending Demi than their own children. Look deep within yourself and try to find out why you so blindly follow someone so insufferable.
