Mitchie and Shane’s romance grows as they battle against a new music camp called Camp Star that has opened across the lake: ‘The romance between Shane and Mitchie is still there and it continues to grow. They want to spend more time together but [finding time is a bit] difficult for them to do, because she is trying to help out the camp as much as she can.’

Demi, ‘They are so easy to work with and we just hangout and have fun. They are like my brothers and they are my best friends. They always make me laugh.’ Nick Jonas on falling for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp: ‘It’s fun. It’s good when you feel comfortable with the person and we’re friends.’

Nervous about kissing Chloe? ‘No, we hadn’t had to do that but it’s been good.’ Kevin is the odd man out as a camp counselor with no love interest: ‘I’ve got my own love interest in my real life so I’m good!’

Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve Star Showdown

-Debby Ryan, Chelsea Staub & Nicole Anderson hold up some giant pieces of bread in a new promo for Disney Channel’s New Year’s Eve Star Showdown. As of Friday, November 20, three new polls will be launched each Friday on http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/newyear/, inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star and fans can also check out fun trivia games hosted by Disney stars. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”

During the “New Year’s Eve Star Showdown” some of your favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.” Judging from the promo pictures, these are some crazy games.

Disney Channel stars helping to ring in the New Year include Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Doug Brochu and Allisyn Ashley Arm from “Sonny With A Chance”; Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles and Moises Arias from “Hannah Montana”; Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Jennifer Stone from “Wizards of Waverly Place”; Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson from “JONAS”; Cole Sprouse, Dylan Sprouse, Brenda Song, Debby Ryan and Doc Shaw from “The Suite Life On Deck”; Alyson Stoner from “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam”; Jason Dolley and Bridgit Mendler from “Good Luck Charlie”; and Leo Howard and G Hannelius from “Leo’s Little Big Show.”

Radio Disney DJ’s Ernie D and Jake Whetter will also be on hand and will co-host the game “Sound Off” and will be featured during the New Year’s countdown. Songs from Disney Channel’s Top 10 music videos will air on Radio Disney FRIDAY, JANUARY 1 (12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT) in a one-hour special hosted by Ernie D and Jake. Radio Disney will also celebrate the New Year with a five-hour special THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT), counting down the Top 50 songs of 2009 with all the Radio Disney DJs.

Demi Lovato Arrives at Washington DC

Not one to be left out, Demi Lovato was spotted arriving in Washington DC last night (January 18), a couple days ahead of the big Barack Obama Inauguration.

The Disney Darling looked excited as she deplaned, sporting oversized sunglasses along with a black leather jacket, grey dress, black stockings, and black leather boots as she made her way to her car.

But, good thing The Jonas Brothers – I mean Joe Jonas invited his CLOSE friend Demi Lovato to count down with them. She looked beautiful in that outfit. When the clock striked twelve, her first hug was with Joe’s Ex, Taylor Swift (hahha – Joe ignored her) but she also gave a tight COUPLE hug to Joe Jonas……

Santa Parade and Winterfest!

Miley Cyrus will perform at the 82nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Broadway in NYC on November 27. Demi Lovato will headline and ride on at float at the Hollywood Santa Parade and Winterfest on November 30 at 5 PM PST.

The parade starts east of Highland, the U-shaped parade route will travel east on Hollywood Boulevard to Vine, south on Vine to Sunset Boulevard and west on Sunset, back to Highland.
