Hello Jemi lovers! Our lovely Joe and Demi attended the Do Something Awards earlier today. Pretty Demi was a presenter and The Jonas Brothers won the Do Something Music Artist Award! Congrats, baby boos! ❤
We know that there are a handful of “happenings” to mention since our last post but I bet most of you got it. ❤ Like Joe’s been back and Wouldn’t Change a Thing is hot. I know there’s so much more! I just wanted to make this a short post so, there you go!

I agree, For someone who is used to being part of a group it must be kind of nervous having to go up there by yourself without that usual support system that’s always around you. The funny yet sad thing is that there was someone there who has always supported and been there for him in the past and all he probably would have had to do is just say something to her and who knows what could have happened. Demi was hot and funny during her presentation but they paired her up with the most awkward of all the guy presenters. Her smile wasn’t completely there and it never reached her eyes. Joe on the other hand doesn’t look like he was trying to even fake happiness. He just looked tired and kind of depressed in some of the pictures I saw of him. It’s obvious that they still have a lot to work out before the tour starts but I hope they can find a way to coexist and who knows possible down the road we’ll see a Jemi 2.0 more mature and more sure of what they both want and need out of this relationship.
you’re right..they clearly miss each other. i mean it’s obvious. both of them occasionally fake happiness…but they look pretty miserable..
Actually, I disagree. I thought overall they both looked fairly comfortable and happy. Just another day at work. I don’t know what people were expecting, but I don’t think drama of any sort was on the agenda for a charity event. They are both too committed to good causes to want to distract from the purpose of the show.
It would have been nice to see a friendly hug or smile, but I suspect they were advised that any kind of interaction would get them on E-news and I don’t think either of them needs that right now.
Not sure what they were thinking letting Joe co-host the Daily 10 on the 26th though??

Well of course they have to do what they do usually. If they weren’t in an awkward situation right now their smiles would be ear to ear and be all giddy. But it’s not like that. It’s just different from their usual—sigh. ❤

They looked fine to me as well. Nothing to worry about, but nonetheless they were a little nervous (or worried) which was expectable.
You have to put in mind the consequences of appearing “together”, at this stage AND at this event.
IF they are “friends” again (God knows what’s going on) and just decided to sit next to each other, imagine WHAT would have happened!!
The event will be ignored, the media will make hundred of stories for a month, paparazzi will be around their houses till they leave for tour, haters will start WW3, fans will celebrate like Joe & Demi will marry tomorrow…..etc.
Tell me HOW will these two EVER think of getting back together if all of the above have happened?!
They are in a “delicate” situation right now. ANYTHING could have ruined whatever plans they were starting on. ONE RUMOR from a “ZT clown” in the audience and we can say GOODBYE! If I was in their place (God forbid), I would have counted the minutes till I (or my ex) leave.
Let’s always look at the situation from a broader perspective.
We also forget how young these two are! 20 years old boy and 17 years old girl…What do you expect them to do? Celebrities in their late 30s and were unable to handle situations like THIS! Do you think they were able to sleep the day before? They were told how serious this is and they have to behave on a certain way.
Looking back at those golden days (KCA10 & Oceans premiere), Joe looks unhappy here. Can’t live a normal life. Can’t stop the world. Sad truth.
I know how much we’re missing Jemi but they will be spening ALL summer together.
Whenever I’m like, ‘Oh, i miss jemi soooo stinkin much’ I just refresh my memory saying, ‘Okay, they’re gonna be together all summer, so something might happen’

i kind of agree with isabelle..she might be hiding something…i mean she is a celebrity in the spotlight, and she probably hides a lot of things…..so does miley cyrus, selena gomez, taylor swift,everyone. i wouldn’t say joe looked gross or ugly but he looked depressed and demi looked great as always and she was kind of normal. remember, she can hide emotions way better than joe. remember back in 2008 or 2009 when they would do interviews together and joe would always be so obvious and demi was better at hiding it? yeah…i know he wants her back. i know she also wants him back but it must be very complicated. he probably misses demi with him on the red carpet and holding hands….it just felt comfortable for them i guess….there not used to going to some event or award show without them talking to eachother. there will be a jemi 2.0…..i just know it….i dont care what people say but i am here supporting them no matter what

Joe’s point of view
I was at the VH1 do something awards and I spot my ex-girlfriend, Demi Lovato.
I just fell so stupid for breaking up with her. She seamed so different.
Then all of a sudden our eyes connected. Demi looked down, then looked up I looked away. I looked back she waved at me. Then went back to posing. I still feel so stupid. She looked really cute. But I’m all for our friendship, I guess I was wrong. I walked over to her. “Hey You” I said then looked away.
“Hi, best friend” She said with a stutter. “Well, will I see you inside?” I asked. “No” I looked up, She looked really mad. “Did I say something wrong?” ” No, you didn’t say anything wrong. You did something wrong, By breaking up with me.” She left with an attitude. I just walked in too. When i walked in, I saw her, She caught my eye. She was talking to someone. She walked up to me. “Why don’t you go sit by “Ashley Greene. Your far enough away from me.” Demi was about to leave when I grabbed her hand. “Look, I’m bummed about our breakup too. But you cant be so stubborn. We have a tour in 8 days. We’ve worked out our differences. Can you just give me that?” I saw the hatred and madness in her eyes. She jerked her arm from me. “You cant leave me alone can you? Your such a jerk. This is just like 6Th grade again.” She walked to her seat and sat down. After the show she was about to leave when I caught up to her. I grabbed her arm and just kissed her. For some odd reason she didn’t let go, she made it more. It was like she was enjoying it. “I’m sorry I missed that. Can we just put this all this behind us?” I asked as we stared into eachothers eyes. “Yes, 8 days till our tour. Well…” “Demi do you want to go back out?”
She froze. “Well… Yes but no one not even our fans can know” She kissed my cheek and got into her car. This time our dating was gonna be different”

During the red carpet pics and video Joe looked alone and like he wished that he wasn’t alone. He is not used to walking the red carpet alone. He usually have either his bros or Demi with him. I am sure that he was wishing Demi was with him this time and not his bros but what can you do.
Joe when he is not feeling happy or whatever he doesn’t/cannot fake it. He cannot hide his feelings well. He looked pleasant, okay but just feeling alone. Demi, for the most part, can fake anything even if she is not feeling it. She was smiling on the red carpet.
Yeah I don’t think Joe or Demi want anyone speculating or running stories about what is really going on with them if they had hugged,smiled or talked at the Do Something Awards.
I think that Jemi will and probably have started talking again. Don’t know if as friends or more but I don’t think that they will be awkward around each other on tour or display any anger toward each other.
They will be like “lets sing this duet, get it over with and move on separately” or they will be Jemi staring at each again. There is usually no in between with Joe and Demi.

So me and Joe are dating again but we cant tell anyone. This might be a pull proof plan! 🙂
But now I’m not so sure. Its only 6 and everyone has rumours about us re-dating, when we got caught k-i-s-s-i-n-g in Target, behind the corner. I was so embarrassed. Joe said its nothing to worry about. I just don’t want anyone finding out that we are dating again. If they do find out than this will be SO bad. But for the worst part, people said they saw Joe’s car at my house. I was on set of my second interview after me and Joe broke up. I sat down and talk with Sarah (Made it up LOL). ” So are you and Joe secretly dating?” Sarah asked. “Um… I love Joe as a brother and I think if we ever went back out um it would change.” I said with 2 or 3 stutters.” Seriously?” I just couldn’t lye to my fans. “In re dating Joe. We started yesterday at the “Do something awards”. All of a sudden I’m being kissed by Joe. I just couldn’t take another day with out him. I just felt different when I kissed him. Joe and Me were back together.

Not trying to be negative or anything but a few blogs are reporting that Joe and Demi avoided each other at the Do Something awards. Whether or not that is true I honestly think it’s going to be a pretty awkward tour. They said they wanted to remain friends despite the break up but the way things are looking it seems to be no effort in doing so. IDK maybe they are talking behind the scenes like the blogs say. I just hope they can patch things up before August 7th. I really want them to be friends again like they were. Gosh its so unfair. I’m starting to hate the fact that they dated things are just so weird without us seeing them hanging out.
i think that joe looked lonely and not his usual funny self (like when he was with demi) and demi seemed ok but she seemed like she was kinda depressed and hiding something…….it must have been weird for them being at the awards together but not together…….i bet they avoided each other….. 😦 oh well we still have the life chat! will someone please record it? i have to miss it 😦 and then TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤

On Do Something Awards show, both of them were definitely sad and depressed, but i i think Joe was more, like everybody said he can’t really hide is fellings, Demi can do better work, but how we can see on demi’s photo of this post you can see that she is sad too.

You know why am I going to enjoy this movie so much? Because according to what they both said when they were together, they’ve always liked each other since the very beggining. And this was kinda their first time to do what they’ve always wanted to do but never had the courage to admit it to each other. You know? Like hold hands and being that close or KISS.
That’s why, when the movie finally premieres I’ll watch it with a huge smile on my face because I know, just like you and all of us, Jemi fans, that internally Joe and Demi were thrilled to do what they had to do for the movie.

ok i watched the live chat and noticed a few things….first of all tho i was SOOOOOOO mad that demi wasnt there with joe 😦 very disappointed in cambio……
1 – when they asked joe his fav camp rock moment he just looked blank and like he was trying to come up with something….i mean im sure his real fav was something with demi……but he looked sad about the question………..
2 – of course when they asked fav demi song and joe just sat there suddenly looking upset and just drank his coffee…..
3 – when they talked about fav disney shows they were naming all the popular shows (new & old) and jonas la came up, hannahmontana but i realized no one said sonny with a chance! for some reason i found that odd…….im sure joe thought about it but didnt say it…

and then just in general i thought joe looked very depressed and sad…..i mean he lightened up maybe once or twice but still……and he looks a WHOLE lot older! its like hes grown up a lot this past 2 months…..i think dating demi, breaking up with her (and then of course going to africa) has really forced him to grow up. he doesnt seem as goofy which i attribute to him not being with demi anymore…

Anyone think it’s funny that Joe had lunch with Alex Noyes yesterday (Demi’s ex) and Demi was seen at the theatre with Camilla Belle (Joe’s ex). Is this some kind of bizarre relationship therapy or a really odd coincidence?

well actually it seems pretty cool dat they are hanging with their ex’s cuz how much we hated camilla with joe b4, and we said that demi was never with camiila like she was with taylor but now it seems that they’re trying to get to each other, either they’re talking about one another with their ex’s or they are just hanging out. i dont think jemi will get together like immediately during tour but when they start hanging out again like friends, they could get back together slowly in time by healing their hearts with good good friendship they had for 3 years and they will care about each other forever, either as lovers or best friends. 🙂

hey guys!!! im back from my break and yea it did kind of pump me up again but first id like to point out a few things
i listened to the radio interview with joe even the parts that werent about jemi haha in terms of joe’s reaction to the question about demi i think what he said sounded pretty normal but i can tell hez wounded and this is just my opinion but some ppl said he sounded like he wuz about to cry which i do kinda agree with but in my opinion he sounded more nervous like he wuz stumbling over words and taking long pauses and everytime he sighed his breath seemed to come out a little shaky idk thats what i thought its harder to tell without actually seeing them in person but one things for sure…….hes defiantley not happy (sorry about my spelling) but i rly want to know yalls opinion on this next thing do u think he sounded like he wuz still in love??? some ppl r saying this and idk PLEASE tell me what u think
i listened to the interview too and I think talking about Demi is still a sensitive thing for him because obviously he WAS (and it seems like he still is) in love with her.He sounds like he was talking about a break up that bothered HIM extremely and considering that it was him breaking up , I think he regrets doing so.I think the main problem in their relationship was that Demi was so in love that she just couldn’t stop talking about him.Considering that this was the first relationship he has gone public with it’s kinda strange for him to reveal so much about it. But seriously if he wasn’t truely in love with Demi, why would he risk their friendship and why would he even agree on going public if he didn’t even cofirmed dating Camilla what lasted about what? 9 months? Joe is by his own admission currently single and likes female company. Ashley and Nick have been following each other on twitter for a few months so were clearly already friends, I see no reason not to believe that her and Joe are now friends too. Joe was close with Chelsea while filming JONAS LA (remember that recent interview in New York where she said she gave the brothers dating advice) and has lots of close female friends.
It will take the focus off Jemi and do Joe’s ego no harm (he is a guy!) to be seen out with a famously attractive older woman and it won’t harm her career or publicity prospects either. She is famously close friends with her male co-stars like Kellan Lutz and can clearly handle a platonic relationship with an attractive man. Even if they are “dating” it is not going to last, he is off on tour today and frankly he just doesn’t seem like someone she would take seriously as a prospective boyfriend.
Our interest should be in how Demi and Joe remake their awesome friendship (it won’t be the same, but it could be good different), not these short-term gossip page distractions.

I go to these different Jemi sites where a LOT of people want to hide and don’t want to hear anything negative against Demi or Joe’s actions. Is that reality?
Sure it is NOT a good thing to go on these Jemi sites and be all “Oh my GOD Joe needs to be whipped, he is a dog etc…I hate him, Jemi will never happen again… ec”
Sure Jemi is not perfect, they have their faults, but talk over that kind of stuff with close friends offline. We don’t want to hear that on these sites.
On the other hand if Joe or Demi is dating someone else that ties into talking about Jemi. Sorry to break it to you but whatever other relationship that Jemi have with other people affects their behavior toward each other and how they see the world.
We analyzed before like ” Why is Joe acting soo quiet and serious when he dated Camilla? Oh he is probably trying to act more adult etc…
So not talking about relationships will not hurt some of us STILL thinking/hoping that Jemi get back together. Just have to keep in mind that it MAY take a looong time to happen.
Just don’t concentrate on these other relationships and just talk about how soon it will affect Jemi even getting back together.

They clearly have problems to be fixed, but they have a lot to gain by getting over the split.
I think they both come from families where forgiveness and faith in others are core values and you underestimate them if you think they won’t get past this. They both clearly needed time and space away from each other to reflect on what is important to them.
Their friendship will never be the same, but friendships change and grow with experience anyway and both Joe and Demi still have a lot of growing and learning to do in life.
There probably won’t be a quick fix for this, but I think it is more likely they will be close friends again than give up on a relationship that most people who saw it seemed to think was exceptional.

It will take a LOT of circumstances/events to align just right for Demi and Joe to ever be close friends again.
Sure it is possible but with such strong feelings that was thrown in the mix of their relationship it will probably take years to acquire that closeness, if at all.
Yeah we all kind of figure out that for Ashley and Joe this is just a superficial dating thing. No feelings will be hurt when they split unless someone make the other one look like a fool in the media.
Joe and Demi will figure out eventually what they really need from a partner in life and then they will be happy either together or separately.

If Joe is acting like a man then I am the Queen of Sheba. It was VERY obvious to anyone with eyes and ears that Demi had feelings for him. Why did he date her if people PERSISTS in thinking that he didn’t feel the same way or he felt sorry fro her, or he threw her a bone. I am sure that there are a some girls who he is friends with that have feelings for him and he didn’t feel like a gun was put to his head to date them.
We don’t know the reasons for the breakup. BUT Demi OBVIOUSLY loved him and she told the whole world that so what the heck do you say to a guy who breaks up with his so called BFF after only 3 months and he dated other girls for longer and they weren’t even friends first, never mind BFF.
What do you say about that? “Oh I lost interest, I didn’t really have boyfriend feeling only friends feelings for you etc…” Please,you better bring me a better reason than that.
Sure Demi has her faults too but her being immature, clingy and not loving Joe was not one of them.
Yeah breakups happen all the time for many reasons but this one sure doesn’t make sense at all. I could have predicted the eventual breakup of Taylor and Camilla but I NEVER in my wildest dreams thought that Joe and Demi would be broken up so SOON like it was something superficial. Sure I didn’t think they would last forever but 3 months? That boggles my mind.
When the girl is saying she didn’t realize they were having problems and her guy is all hugging, kissing and grinding on her like a week before the breakup then something is not adding up there.
And it’s not like Joe was getting any from Demi to say “oh guys always do that because they are horny and wanted some.”
Get a grip people and move on to Oceanup with your bashing. I am tired of being disappointed.

I like Joe and I like Demi and I want them both to be happy however that works out.
I think Jemi were great and they had a great relationship and I still believe that won’t just go away.
I think most of the random stuff on gossip sites and especially twitter is rubbish even though I am fascinated by it.
I try my best to base my opinions of Joe and Demi on what they have actually said themselves and video and radio interviews of them.
I like fanfiction and Jemi videos, but I know it’s not truth – just people being creative in a way that makes them happy.
I like the people who come on this site to be positive and the people who leave to get on with their lives when they become too obsessed with Jemi.
Mostly I love it when people are lovely and don’t hate on either Joe or Demi.
It’s good that mostly people can come here and escape the nastiness on other sites and personally I would not like to see that change.

As Joe and Demi are rehearsing together now and seeing each other every day there’s going to be a lot of interest in any stories about how they are or aren’t getting along (I’m pretty sure Zac Taylor will already have some rubbish drafted).
If they have any sense (which I am sure they have) Joe and Demi’s family and management will be doing their best to keep them out of the spotlight while they re-establish a working relationship (in whatever form) and that will mean telling Demi, Joe, their friends and co workers not to tweet or talk about them and keeping out of sight of paparazzi etc. I am pretty sure the Ryan Seacrest interviews were a way of saying to the press – look they’ve already talked about this publicly so no more questions.
As a result we are not going to get anything reliable in the way of information about them for a bit – probably until we see the first footage of their performances.
Be patient and like indie said keep the faith fellow Jemi fans.
That is very smart thinking and I am sure that you are right because it seems strange to me that hardly any of the dancers,AnnaMarie, Allyson etc.. have tweeted anything directly to Demi or posted any tweetpic of Demi posing with them etc.. the whole time they were practicing in LA and Chicago. Even since JB arrived in Chicago nothing mentioned about them or anything either.

hey everyone! sorry i was out of town and i didnt have access to a computer 😦 but i have caught up on all the jemi news 🙂 and i love that they are friends again – it reminds me of the old days when they were bffs……its nice to see them getting along……but im sure its still hard for both of them. maybe in a group they are fine (on the outside) but if its ever just the two of them man its gotta be difficult…….especially when they sing their songs…its gotta be hard…but they are making progress!!! repairing the friendship comes first 🙂
